Yes and it’s because of the huge market size they are able to bully the nation and force car makers that can be sold in Ca. so the Ca standards become the national standards because car makers can’t practically make two versions of their car lines. The big problem is the standards Obongo imposed on his way out the door required suspending the laws of physics.

The weird thing is that New York State sits on top of the Marcellus shale formation. They have more natural gas than they could use in 100 years. But they don’t allow the extraction of this gas. They made their bed; let them lie in it.

The gas has been there for millenia….it will wait.

When the political winds shift and NY goes Republican again, the governor and legislature can make a killing by allowing drilling. The economy will prosper and natural gas prices will drop like a rock.

Heh... Cali will require manufacturers to include not only GPS, but also a remote kill switch. No more OJ low speed SUV chases — the vehicle just konks out completely, and you can emerge with your hands on the top of your head, or try to run away on foot.

Exactly — they want no fracking. It’s not about saving the Earth (because it won’t do any such thing) or air pollution — it’s all about getting the boot on the necks and never letting them up.

It would be much more practical and cheaper to offer free, mass transportation to anyone who wants to relocate to California — Cloward-Piven in action, with the crosshairs on Newsom and the rest of that pack of rats.

Explicit retaliation against companies for exercising their constitutional right to advocate for a public policy position? That’s got to be unconstitutional. It should be struck down promptly.

In truth, California has already left the union by force of action to nullify federal law.

they will leave by executive order withdrawing statehood and establishing the territory of California. As a territory California has no congressmen or senators of federal judges

At least Ford didn’t take the obama bailout like Chevy, who never paid it back.

Note to Ford: Raise your prices 30% to all CA government entities.

“So no Suburbans for the Governor?

Don’t be absurd. There’s this tidbit:”...with exemptions for certain public safety vehicles.” The public safety requires that the state’s governor be able to move about the state quickly and in comfort. He’s got important things he has to be able to oversee.

And please don’t think for a moment that he enjoys traveling in a Suburban. In fact such travel is quite unpleasant for him. It is a sacrifice he is willing to make for the people of his state.

At $3+ trillion it’s over 1/7th of US GDP of $20+ trillion.

Right behind Germany, and just before the UK.

And probably the most diverse economy in the nation as it’s also #1 in agriculture. And #1 in manufacturing.

I’m sorry to not see Ford and others on that list.

Ford has been too busy brown nosing California and turning an iconic nameplate into an EV.

Who the h*ll wants a crossover Mach E! Mustang?
