President Trump praised Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., for her performance Friday at an impeachment hearing, where she asked effective questions of former Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch and battled with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
Stefanik took some public swipes at Schiff mocking him at Friday's impeachment hearing by reading old tweets from when the House Intelligence Committee chairman vowed to have the Ukraine whistleblower testify before his panel. The two also clashed over House procedures.
“A new Republican Star is born. Great going @EliseStefanik!” Trump tweeted, retweeting a video clip of the 35-year-old congresswoman questioning Yovanovitch.

Before the testimony began Friday, Schiff shut down Stefanik after she asked if Schiff would “continue to prohibit witnesses from answering Republican questions.” Schiff said it wasn’t a “proper” point of order, and then declined to recognize her colleague, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, who also tried to raise a parliamentary question.
“We know clearly you're going to interrupt us throughout this hearing,” Stefanik complained within minutes of the gavel.

When Schiff silences a Republican, I wonder what would happen if all the Republicans on the committee simply got up, walked over and surrounded Schiff and refused to stop talking? Could we make him cry?

one thing we’ve noticed in out household is that the House Pubs are young, very smart, articulate, and good-looking, whereas the top Dems are mostly a bunch of ancients and most look like a bunch of freakazoids ...
And George Conway was on MSNBC calling Rep Elise Stefanik trash. This came after hours of these bastards ripping Trump for disrespecting the woman ambassador.

A friend of mine works with a guy who overheard someone say that his neighbor has a distant cousin who was told by a source that George Conway has dirt on the Clintons.
I like her performance in these hearings, but if you read her Wiki page you’ll see she’s suspiciously RINO on a few key issues. For example, she voted against the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and disagreed with Trump pulling out of the Paris climate agreement. She was educated at Harvard, so not surprising.
Lol, that is exactly what needs to happen. Burst his authoritarian bubble. I wish we were more like the British parliament sometimes, they are allowed to express without reserve.
Elise Stefanik should be recognized for standing up to shifty Schitt’s Star Chamber proceedings, good on her and Trump.
she is for climate change regulation- and has criticised Trump several times- Yes, she did a good job but I think she is like niki haley- good in areas, but not trustworthy in other areas
