I cannot help but be reminded of the ‘homeless’ surfer in San Diego who was using his food stamps to buy lobster.

And many are homeless because all the mental hospitals are gone.

We used to have compassion for the mentally ill. Now we just dump them on the streets or in jails and prison.

Once again, why was an Obama appointee left in his position by the Trump Administration for years?

I will tell you why and it's not because they're stupid or just forgot somehow to deal with that or other situations. It's being allowed to happen on purpose. Everything these clowns do is on purpose and in a script written by them to further their own interests and not that of the citizens.

Everyone of them have their own part to play in front of us every day and I am so tired of watching the fake ass show they put on.

But a fair number do it because it’s fun and an easy way of life.

I disagree. Being homeless is neither fun nor easy.

Many of the permanently 'homeless' are in that situation because they DO NOT WANT any RESPONSIBILITY for ANYTHING.

I think Barr gave us the answer to your question in his speech to the Federalists:

” As of September of this year, the Senate had been forced to invoke cloture on 236 Trump nominees — each of those representing its own massive consumption of legislative time meant only to delay an inevitable confirmation. How many times was cloture invoked on nominees during President Obama’s first term? 17 times. The Second President Bush’s first term? Four times. It is reasonable to wonder whether a future President will actually be able to form a functioning administration if his or her party does not hold the Senate.”

By stalling approval of Trump nominees, Congress has forced Trump to leave Zero appointees in place.

I don’t agree. He could have fired them all and put in actings and if the time limits on the acting runs out, he could have changed actings or used deputies, etc. That is what White House personnel is for if it is controlled by the President’s loyalists. Sure it can be difficult, but not as difficult as leaving the enemy in so many key positions.

At the Sepulvada dam near the 101 & 495 freeways are parks that were swarming with homeless. The Daily News paper said in area there were over 100 people. Some living there for years.

Today they are almost all gone. The last month there was a crackdown by the lake and Bull creek. I walked around and saw only 2 people that I thought had that bum look. The plastic tents were all gone. They were even cleaning up the debris floating in the creek.

About time!!
