f you thought there weren’t any major elections until the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 3, guess again. On Saturday, Louisiana will choose between incumbent Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards and Republican businessman Eddie Rispone for governor. And the race down in the Bayou looks increasingly close, so it’s an open question whether Edwards can once again overcome Louisiana’s deep red hue to win reelection. Here’s where things stand heading into Election Day.

"The leftist propagandist media have smeared PDJT and Republicans so badly that people are starting to believe it. Maybe when some arrest, including the media, people will wake up and see they’ve been lied to. Horowitz Durham need to drop that bomb. If they don’t like many here fear, our nation is in grave danger. Pray for justice."

And another narrow Democrat victory. The smearing is not going to stop and the DOJ investigations never stop or never lead to anything against the Left. The clock is running out. Barr talks a good game, but we are bleeding to death while nothing happens to stop the Left. What happened to the McCabe referral, for instance? The DOJ is where justice goes to die.

"I never listen to the national media. I think & learn for myself. I am a Trump dude...we both grew at about the same time In NYC...he worked with plumbers, iron workers, electricians, carpenters, mechanics, engineers, etc. and he learned their street ways and smarts as a growing boy!!! We think alike!!! That is why he understands the common Joes & Janes, so well!!! I loved “The Donald” before he was POTUS and I will love & support him always!!!"

It’s a disgrace. There has been so much cheating from the left I no longer believe in election integrity.
Remember the back room in Florida with workers busily creating votes behind a locked door. How many others?

The recent gubernatorial elections in Louisiana and Kentucky may be the flip side of usually liberal states like New Jersey or Maryland that sometimes elect Republican governors. As Tip O'Neill once said, all politics are local.

exactly right...here in MICHIGAN,we just elected a DEM for Gov in 2018...on her big promise to fix the damn roads”....and next door in Ohio and Indiana, the roads are just fine...its local, especially in a off year election.

Niot in MY humble opinion!

Crossroads of America and the dang interstates STILL are not 3 lane from border to border!

Indiana roads aren’t perfect, but Michigan is much worse.

What people here seem to be ignoring is that PDJT wanted this election to send a message:

“”The eyes of history are looking upon the great people of Louisiana,” Mr. Trump told thousands of supporters in Bossier City, adding, “I really need you, but you really need you, to send a message to the corrupt Democrats in Washington.””

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-rally-bossier-louisiana-today-maga-2020-campaign-centurylink-center-live-stream-updates-2019-11-14/

Rispone being a good or bad candidate was irrelevant. Local politics was irrelevant. There was a much bigger issue here and that was for the good people of Louisiana to send a loud, clear message to D.C and the rest of the country that they, who gave PDJT a resounding victory in that state back in 2016, still support him and will hold his attackers accountable.

Unfortunately it appears as though PDJT’s 2020 election strategy is to try to “overwhelm” Democrat election fraud with volume

Most state candidates are not DJT. Fraud is very local with all kinds of ballot manipulation in precincts -very difficult to track and document.

We need voter ID

Yes, and the bigger issue seems to be that the tide is rising against us. This will further embolden the Adam Schiffs of the world, the Resist movement and foreign govements like China and North Korea to just hold on and make no deals with the Orange Man; the domestic Rat enemies will save them. How soon will voting at the ballot box become useless?

All you have to do is look at the results from the notoriously crooked Orleans (New Orleans) Parish. The Democrat Incumbent received 114,000 votes and the Republican received 13,000. That voted alone was almost 3 times the margin of victory. I wonder how many Orleans Voters were bussed to polling places to vote multiple times?

you arent suggesting Trump will lose Louisiana in 2020 are you??...bottom line...the R=Secretary of State won last night by almost 300,000 votes. Not a good idea to run unknown political novices against a popular incumbent for Gov...just read that Edwards ran ads bragging about his trips to the white house with Trump.....

The point is that Trump no longer has coattails. In other words, voters don’t care whether he endorses someone or not.

It also shows there are weaknesses in the GOP turnout. The Democrats are turning out heavily in the inner cities. And the GOP suddenly has a BIG problem in the suburbs. The rural turnout won’t be enough to counter this in the swing states.

Read where Edwards won because blacks came out to vote and gave him the win. 87% black vote.

It’s damn bad news. The rats will be emboldened now. I put impeachment at 90% now. I’m betting it was women turned off because of the non stop accusations of Trump bullying the lying woman Ambassador. I got flamed here saying it wad a very dumb move for Trump to be tweeting about her during her show Friday. We really needed this win.

2 things...go look at the vote totals for the PRESIDENTIAL election...and 2..Trump has 85-90% approval among Republicans...when you find someone better than that, let us know...
