In the hours after National Security Advisor John Bolton was fired by President Donald Trump on September 10th, he immediately began calling longtime political operatives in Washington, DC, sources tell The Chronicle. Many of those calls were made to Democrats and many of them in the national security establishment.

“It’s go time,” he began those conversations, multiple sources tell The Chronicle, as if to suggest that Bolton’s patience with the President had worn thin, and even implying later in more than one conversation that a faction of neo-conservatives at the Central Intelligence Agency was ready to remove the President from office.

While on the phone with one former government official who currently works on K Street, Bolton admitted that he was furious with the President, whom he lambasted with obscenities for more than five minutes. The President would learn his lesson, he told the lobbyist, who chalked it up to a disgruntled employee venting over his unexpected termination.
But now, he fears that Bolton is organizing a coup d’etat to oust President Trump from office. He cites Bolton’s contacts with journalists at major media outlets — particularly The Washington Post under the ownership of Jeff Bezos — to whom Bolton is widely thought to have leaked information from inside of the Trump administration through the duration of his tenure.

In the context of the current Schiff Sham hearings 5th hand information is closer to the source than what the witnesses who have testified so far are relying on.
Although we are about to hear from people who said they were able to hear the other side of a phone call by eavesdropping on the person talking on their cell phone with President Trump during lunch in a restaurant in Ukraine.
It isn't reassuring to learn that State Department employees use cell phones in public places in foreign countries to talk about what is probably classified information. No doubt they also use the hotel phone in the special "ambassador's suite" when they visit China or Russia.
Trust me, as a combat Vet of one of the Neocon Wars with Victory as it’s goal, I have no great love nor respect for Bolton and his ilk.

Notice the long string of characters after the "coup/", that was probably appended by some search engine, or some other website which had the link to the Buffalo Chronicle article, or it was generated by the Buffalo Chronicle website itself.
Usually in this kind of situation those extra strings contain data used internally by websites, or email newsletters, to track if the link has been clicked on.
Simply removing that extra data causes the Buffalo Chronicle website to display the original article.
Fair enough.
Logic, common sense, and credible sources and evidence from multiple sources should be the deciding factors on fake/dubious vs credible/real news, in my opinion. And The Buffalo Chronicle doesn’t pass any of those with me.

Steve Pieczenik had a video about a week ago or so that says Bolton is extremely involved in all of this from the git go.
I have mixed feelings about Pieczenik, but often, he’s right.

I know what you mean. I don’t even believe the eavesdropping story. I think his calls were wiretapped or whatever the digital equivalent is.

I was surprised when the President hired Bolton, because I always thought of him as a warmonger whereas the President wants to get out of wars.
I agree. The article is anonymous and it just sounds like gossip.
