Shots were fired in the bleachers during a high school football game in Pleasantville Friday night, according to a NJ Advance Media reporter who was covering the game.
Two people were injured in the shooting, according to ABC.
Pop, pop, pop. At least have a dozen shots in Pleasantville bleachers, reporter Kevin Minnick tweeted.
With approximately five minutes left in the third quarter, I heard multiple gunshots coming from the Pleasantville bleachers. At that point, everyone was just screaming to get down, Minnick said moments later.
Fans scrambled, and there was a lot of screaming. Ive been doing this for better than 30 years and this is the first time Ive experienced something like this first hand, he added.

I hope hollow points weren’t used. That would be illegal in NJ
Pleasantville isn’t very pleasant. The last time I drove through it in 2002, I immediately regretted it.
Did they keep playing?
Did you get a speeding ticket?
No, I was careful. But I couldn’t wait to get south on Route 9.
I thought the Peoples Republic of NJ had it licked with tough gun control!
Oh well.
Gun crime in high-gun-control New Jersey? Impossible
‘Pleasantville...’
complete armpit...and to think my 76 y/o cousin lives there by herself...
Yeah! Thats my question. How come this crap happens in high gun control areas? California, New Jersey, Chicago what the ? Its the education system, its against the law dont these anal orfices know that?
"Roll 'em up!"
Trump has a golf resort nearby! IMMMPPPEEAACCHHHH!!!
... So what’s the deal here .... Another kid had a bad day at school? ....
This is going to keep happening until we get a state funeral to hog up the news cycle.
A man was gunned down in the North stands of the “Canyon” during the Oil Bowl (Oklahoma vs Texas HS athletes) in June of 1972 in Wichita Falls, Texas. The minority killer emptied five shots out of his revolver into his victim and he died on the spot. I was sitting in front of the stands and saw it after the first shot. I won’t ever forget it.
Are there any pleasant pleasantvilles? Or nice nicetowns, safe MLK roads?
At what point do parents pay a price in this.....like the ones who voted to refuse the schools from armed guards to protect these kids.....or wanted gun free zones. Because as I see it if they have kids in these schools and aren’t willing to have their own kids protected they sure aren’t going to give a hoot about mine!
I had lots of bad days at high school. I also had a Win 30-30 in the trunk of my car, at the end of 6th hour a friend and I would sneak out and go deer hunting. Our senior year we had enough credits to graduate but had to finish the year to get a couple of the required classes. Wed show up at 2nd hour and leave at 6th hour. Our principal dragged us in one day and asked why the hell did we bother coming at all? Before we could answer he said when deer season closed that crap had to stop. Then he told us to get out of his office and wished us good luck. No one ever saw our firearms. Period. Never occurred to me or my friend to openly show them. Times have changed a bunch.
