Representative Elise Stefanik brought to light interesting information today surrounding how the Obama administration was concerned about issues surrounding Vice-President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and his connection to a corrupt Ukraine company Burisma. This revelation directly contradicted the Yovanovitch opening statement.
During questioning Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch admitted the Obama White House spent time briefing her on how to respond to congress if questions about Hunter Biden and Burisma were raised. This testimony highlights the concerns by the Obama administration about a clear issue with the Biden family and corrupt Ukraine interests.
Actually it’s true that by Schiff having witnesses go through closed-door hearings first, the Dems got a sense of what these witnesses have to say ‘privately’... and then...tailored their questions for maximum impact during this ‘public spectacle’,....BUT...
.... Trouble is, even rehearsals haven’t seemed to help . . because no matter how many auditions they held or hold, it’s no substitute for hard evidence!.....and thus far none of them have any!

It’s a nothingburger. Not only did she make that statement today when answering Stefanik, but also revealed the “Biden-Burisma briefing” in her previous closed door deposition. If needed, she will be afforded the opportunity to correct her statement, as has long been SOP for such instances. I doubt they will even bother, as it is a meaningless “gotcha” at this point.
So Obama suborned perjury.
Her answer was also revealing in that she said her coached response to the question of Hunter being raised was, “to refer the matter to the Vice President’s office”.
On the very day Roger Stone was sentenced to 60 years in prison for.... drumroll, please.... lying to Congress. Go get ‘er, Mr. President.
Schiffty's actors are all hacks. Republicans on the committee ought to take pity on them and let them use cue cards instead of making them rely on trying to repeat the words Schiffty is mouthing for them like a high school theater teacher standing in the wings during a play.
The 2 people sitting behind her reacted to that coached statement. Her lawyers.
I kind of expect vote in the house that will fail. But there is no way the Democrats want this to go to a Senate Trial, where the Republicans can trot out and investigate the Biden corruption, the Kerry Corruption, the Clinton Corruption, and the Schiff/WB/Witness collusion.

According to Jim Jordan there is an additional reason. If Schiff doesn't release the transcripts from the depositions, republicans can't use witness responses to further question them in open hearings. There are 4 depositions that haven't been released yet.
