The usurping group of FBI and DOJ officials we have called the small group have an established set of media operatives and outlets aligned to assist their narrative. Tonight Devlin Barrett (Lisa Page and Peter Strzoks favorite narrative engineer) publishes a report in the Washington Post highlighting their concerns.
According to the WaPo Inspector General Michael Horowitz is not allowing the small group to provide written rebuttals to the IG report on FISA abuse during their principal reviews. The outline by Devlin on behalf of the group also confirms our timeline.
(Via Washington Post) The Justice Department Inspector Generals office has told witnesses who are set to review draft sections of its long-awaited report on the FBI investigation of President Trumps 2016 campaign that they will not be allowed to submit written feedback one in a series of unusual restrictions that some fear could make the final document less accurate, people familiar with the matter said.
As is the case in most inspector general probes, witnesses are being invited to review draft sections of the report and offer comments and corrections, the people said. But unlike most cases they are being told those comments must be conveyed only verbally, the people said.
Even though Attorney General William P. Barr and other officials have been working in recent weeks to determine what should be redacted from the report as classified or private information, people familiar with the process said that the entire draft document is marked Top Secret, so anyone who discusses its contents outside a secure government room could be committing a crime.
Nothing in that series of paragraphs is unusual.

No, going through final review and preparing for declassification process, as I understand it.
“Rebuttal witnesses not allowed to comment or testify”
Sounds just like a watered-down version of what the Dems did in their dungeon basement Star Chamber inquisition over the past couple months.
Nope. In this case it is part of the normal procedure. Please read the article.
They just want to put their feedback in writing so then they can go “whistleblow” to Schiff and have him subpoena it.
The complaint on the process is coming from the ComDem friends in the Press/Media.
Yep. They have lawyered up with LawFare and are trying to diffuse the damage. Won’t work.
Thats exactly what I find ironic. They are complaining about the very same process THEY used in the closed-door inquiry.
Just another delay tactic
It’s been so long that I’ve taken a “believe it when I see it” attitude.
I suppose they’re obligated to let these snakes see the report first but I still don’t like it.
Good grief...it's our turn to lay down the gauntlet. Cause these crooks to squirm and squeal.
The small group, aka the Socialist Camp of the deep state, aka the communist terrorist traitor cell.
It will be a bunch of nothing. Horowitz was lauded by the usual suspects in the past. Nothing much will come of this. If I am wrong, I will
“If I am wrong, I will”
You will what?
boy, it’s rich when the coup plotters get caught and then whine they can’t edit the truth to fit their false narrative. As if accuracy was the concern. Then again, the IG report is only a report, and the way Barr is letting Comey and McCabe skate, it amounts to a big “so what” in my mind. Hate to sound sour notes, but recent history is a pretty good guide to what we can expect: nothin’ much.
I would love to be wrong about all this. But I’m weary of bombshells outfitted with silences.
well if they get indicted or suspended/fired they can put their complaints in writing or before a judge...if not they best shut up.
They can save it for the jury.
I look forward to those trials.
May Justice be done.
“the very same process THEY used in the closed-door inquiry.
Yes. Absolutely
