Hey, I’ve always wanted to know:
WHAT DO COMPANIES DO WITH THE FAT THEY TAKE?
Skinless breasts for instance- where does that skin and fat go?
It’s never listed as an ingredient of anything.

WHAT DO COMPANIES DO WITH THE FAT THEY TAKE?
____________________________________________________
what an intriguing question. Never even thought about it before.

Personally, I save all the fat and skin, render the fat (both chicken & beef) and make crackling from the chicken skin. Improves all gravies and the chicken or beef fat is superior to butter, ghee, or oil for sauteing in many sauces and rice dishes.

But you’re right: I’ve never seen either on an ingredient list.

Did a search and came up empty. Maybe it goes into pet food.
