The Geneva Convention is the UN-backed pact enacted during the Cold War that governs the conduct of foreign diplomats in host countries and protects them against retribution. But it strictly mandates that foreign diplomats "have a duty not to interfere in the internal affairs of that State" that hosts them. You can read the convention’s rules here.

Ambassadors need to be fired and the State Department emptied out. Of course the State would tell us they are too important. I say the world won’t end if we just fire them all and then start from scratch severely downsizing as we go. Indeed. The next time some DemocRAT malfeasance starts to enter the news cycle, look for the DemocRATS to try to head it off by loudly accusing Trump of whatever it is. This happened with Russia after we learned how Russians bought and paid for Hillary, and with Ukraine when we began to learn of Biden's corruption there. The DemocRATs have not yet accused Trump of collusion with China, which was another Biden crime--maybe they left that one in reserve for when the Ukraine scam falls apart.
Why is it that prior to the USSR disbanding, the fellow travelers within our State Dept were so soft on it? Now Russia is their new boogeyman and Red China is their darling. It seems like the Red China is the type of system they want only with a tad more freedom, but not much more.

When Yavonovitch shows up at the hearings to cry about her mistreatment, I hope she is questioned about all of her shenanigans.
It seems that most foreign service employees have “gone native” as they say in the IC. It made me sick to see those two fossils whining about how America’s actions disadvantaging the Ukrainians. Their only job should be to serve the best interest of US citizens and PDJT’s foreign policy directives.
Isn’t this woman on the “impeachment” list of witnesses? Jim Jordan should have some interesting questions for her.
