Whose a big Alabama name who can beat jones? We have to keep the senate!!!!!
What a douche bag sorry no sale sessions is backstabbing coward
Currently, there’s around 12, but for real serious talk....I’d limit this to four: Tommy Tuberville (the former football coach), Roy Moore (for the Baptists), John Merrill (the current Secretary of State), and Sessions.
Tuberville is laughed about but I think he can pull 30-percent and get into the run-off, against Sessions. Tuberville is known throughout the state. If you asked about his background, well....he was a NCAA coach.
He’s saying much the same on Fox and Friends right now. Sorry, Sessions, but you failed miserably as AG and can kiss any position above dog catcher good bye.
He didnt hire Rosenstein
Rosenstein was assistant AG Trump asked senate to approve
Barr reeled in Rosenstein ...swamp critter but pliable
Barr is swamp too....some are seeing the light
Some swamp is going to have to pick sides and looks like Barr did his
Thats pure speculation
Speculation
Pure speculation
And if he gets in, he'll join the Romney/Graham/Burr/Collins faction in the Senate.
Trump isnt rewarding him
Alabama will elect him
Thats a decent question
Freepers like to rail
Thanks for being practical
Me too.
The Sessions hate is strong here on FR.
Its really only a handful of obsessed loudmouths who feel the need to hijack every thread six degrees of separation from Jeff Sessions and correct anyone who dares to say a kind word in his defense.
Ive really been enjoying their silence lately, with Sessions out of the picture. You could actually discuss a wide range of issues and stories again without every conversation being dumbed down to the same tired memes.
And with the new AG also not locking Hillary Clinton up, or handing down any indictments for that matter, I thought perhaps it was finally dawning on them that the deep state coup, and Trumps strategies to counter it, were far more nuanced than just everything is all Jeff Sessions fault for recusing himself.
But here we go again.
I was watching Hannity, and turned off Ingraham when she said this creepy weasel was coming on.
Thanks! It will be interesting to see who survives the primary and wins the general.
Sessions is a deep state mole, for all the reasons above.
Apparently we have some deep state trolls here doin their best and trying to again fool conservatives into supporting a swamp creature.
I hope he isn't the nominee.
This.
The voters need to recuse themselves from voting for him.
"Several Republican lawmakers had already called on Sessions to recuse himself and some of them applauded him after he did so. Sen. Ben. Sasse (R-Neb.) called it the right decision.
"House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) tweeted early Thursday that AG Sessions should clarify his testimony and recuse himself.
"House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) shared conflicting views on Sessions during back-to-back television interviews Thursday. Asked whether Sessions should recuse himself, he told MSNBCs Morning Joe, I think the trust of the American people you recuse yourself in these situations, yes.
"Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), a close friend of the former Alabama senator who introduced him at his confirmation hearing, called on the attorney general to withdraw from the Russia investigation in order to "ensure public confidence." She added in a statement that Sessions "should also clarify his statements to the Judiciary Committee."
"Republican Sen. Rob Portman also called for a recusal. Jeff Sessions is a former colleague and a friend, but I think it would be best for him and for the country to recuse himself from the DOJ Russia probe, the Ohio senator said in a statement.
"Meanwhile, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), who last week called for a special prosecutor to investigation Russias election interference, said in a statement Thurssday that we need an independent review by a credible third party and that Attorney General Sessions should recuse himself from any investigation into Russia.
"At least eight House Republicans who are Democratic targets in 2018 are calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from any investigations into Russian involvement in Donald Trumps presidential campaign as pressure mounts from both parties for him to step aside.
GOP Reps. Brian Mast (Fla.), Mike Coffman (Colo.), Martha McSally (Ariz.), Darrell Issa (Calif.), Ryan Costello (Pa.), Barbara Comstock (Va.) and Carlos Curbelo (Fla.) have all been named as targets by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). With the exception of freshman Mast, all are in districts won by Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in November.
"Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-N.J.), a House Intelligence Committee member who is also on the DCCC list, also joined the calls.
"All eight have said Sessions should recuse himself from any probes the Department of Justice (DOJ) conducts related to Russia, after reports emerged that he did not disclose to Congress contact he had with the countrys ambassador during the 2016 campaign."
