Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions made the case Wednesday for President Trump to support his second run for to represent Alabama in the Senate, saying that if he elected he would support the president aggressively.
"He didn't have a better supporter in the United States Senate than when I was there. I was his first supporter in the United States Senate," Sessions said on "The Ingraham Angle." "And if I go back to the United States Senate, he won't have a more aggressive, determined supporter when I get back."
Sessions told Ingraham he will "work for" Trump's endorsement and that "we'll be seeking it."

Sessions questioned the import of the FBi Coup.
He also announced after forever, the IG would recommend nothing in the Lois Lerner case.
He knows how IGs work in protecting agencies.
No he recused over Anytjing campaign related since he was a part of campaign
Like I said naive and foolish
And trump rightly pissed
But he was never anti trump or out to get trump
Makes no sense he campaigned hard fo the man
Naive
He should have spoken to trump and others first
Trump will endorse him mark my words
He knows hell be of help to trump there
.
Wonder how he appointed John Huber then?
Rosenstein let him do it because they wanted to sell it to Republicans. They wanted to squelch the calls for a Special Counsel.
There is no Impeachment, nothing without Sessions.
Laura ought to be ashamed for promoting this guy. Only Fox could rescue him from his rightfully deserved retirement. Fox......stop promoting this guy. Sessions was correct, Trump will not get involved in the primary. Why should Fox???
Sessions was a GREAT conservative senator and I am all for him returning to his senate seat!! He will back Trump policies I dont doubt that for a minute!!!
Fox News wouldnt run Trump Border Ads before the mid-terms.
They filed briefs in support of Jim Acosta.
They banned a regular who criticized Greta Thunberg.
They prohibit the use of Seth Richs name.
They prohibit the use of the Whistleblowers name.
And they are rehabbing old fool Jeffrey Sessions.
Im sure you noticed Sessions spoke of all his years around the DoJ and FBi. He said, he knows that place very well (with emphasis).
Yet, the excuse for him is that he was over his head. Sessions seems even unaware of that criticism.
Yes. Huber doing nothing was the plan.
And for like 16 months refused to provide a single update.
They wanted people confused. They wanted the Deep State safe.
I think you can plan on a primary split, a month later....a run-off: Tubby and Sessions. Anyone’s guess on Tubby...but if Trump does make a trip through the state for Tubby in that month...that rips away voters for Sessions.
Yes. Whatever sword the deep state used to hang over Sessions’ head to control him is still there.
I can’t believe Alabama’s talent pool is so shallow that sessions and moore are the only Conservatives in the entire state. There are no Conservatives who are 50 years old or younger?
Out of almost 5 million people to pick from....sessions? Really?
The left threw false accusations against him, late night comedians sent jokers to mock him, they used California billionaires to fund fake FB pages against him, they did lying Y.Tube ads that were blatant lies. Project Birmingham was used to study the effect on voters with fake Russian Bot Twitter accounts... Roy was outspent 10 to 1 (with the RINO congress not helping him). Roy had so called conservatives campaign against him. Trump pushed another candidate until the end, and did not go in state to support Roy. Shelby suggested the public vote for a 3rd Party candidate.
There was not a more crooked election in US history. Prove me wrong.
Time to elect competence to the seat. You blew it, Jeffy. You could’ve been the greatest Attorney General to take out evil leftist corruption since A. Mitchell Palmer. Instead, you spent 2 years with your thumb up your ass while the coup plotters were operating openly in plain sight. That will be your legacy.
We needed him to be an Attorney General who went after epic corruption. He was the most incompetent and hapless AG in a century. You don’t reward epic failures.
Because everything he did was negated the moment he became AG. I no longer give a rat’s ass what he did as Senator. Why did he refuse to do his job ? Was he being blackmailed ? Was it all an act to begin with in the Senate and he has been a Derp Stater puppet all along ?
These are all fair questions. Chief Justice Moore was polling a distant 3rd place in the primary last I checked, so he won’t even make the runoff. We’ve got other people in Alabama that aren’t as shockingly incompetent as Sessions that are more deserving of the Senate seat.
WAS. Why would you reward incompetence by sending the worst “Republican” AG in a century back to the Senate ? A Demonrat could not have done a worse job in protecting the President and our country. Just execrable.
Sickening, ain’t it ? I once thought Sessions, as I did of Mark Sanford before he lost his mind, that he was of Presidential timber. I’ve never seen anyone so astonishingly incompetent. He should’ve had prosecutions lined up from here to the turn of the 22nd century. Just sat there staring into outer space. I accuse him of incompetence, because if it isn’t, either he’s being blackmailed or that means he’s been a part of the corruption from Jump Street. Return such an individual to the Senate to fight for President Trump ? Where the f*** were you from day #1 in 2017, Jeffy ? This is a sick joke.
Oh, I absolutely believe there was corruption and collusion in the race to derail Chief Justice Moore. But he’s not going to make the runoff this time. State Rep. Arnold Mooney looks like the best, absent Moore. Prior to Sessions reentry (which needs to be nuked with extreme prejudice), it appeared the runoff would be between Coach Tuberville and Sec of State John Merrill.
It’s too bad Rep. Mo Brooks didn’t jump in. Perhaps he’s waiting for Dickie Shelby to buy the farm. Shelby should’ve retired 20 years ago. In January, he will have been in Congress for 41 years. He’s going to be almost 90 when his present term ends in 2023, and he may yet run to stay in there until he’s 95. Absurd.
If he had not endorsed, he would not have recused.
