If I read the statement correct. Sen Paul attacked the flank rather than frontal assault. He indicated that an individual named Ciarmella was a material witness in the Hunter Biden affair because of close association.
By using the name Ciarmella, the alleged whistle blower is kept in the news and we learn there is in fact a bigger kettle of hot water with fish in it. The Ciarmella corruption thus supersedes and replaces the telephone call hoax where the name is taboo.
The press can now use the name with impunity discussing Rand Paiuls assertions
