No *way* she misses Court and risks missing a vote like that if she wasn’t seriously ill. It was oral arguments. There was no vote.

If RBG misses the hearing, she by default can not vote as I understand it.
She can vote on other issues where she was at the hearing but not this one.

Possible medical reason for this, the 2nd round of Chemo didn’t work and she is on hospice. Just lost a friend to this.

She has pancreatic cancer, did not have the tumor surgically removed, and has been receiving maintenance-only care. Plus she’s nearly 110 years old.
I do hope that she has found forgiveness through the work of Christ on the cross.
