Sen. Ted Cruz asks for further review of evidence in Rodney Reed case https://t.co/wYvo0imQRF— CBS Austin (@cbsaustin) November 11, 2019
This is a remarkable bipartisan coalition. Having spent yrs in law enforcement, I believe capital punishment can be justice for the very worst murderers, but if there is credible evidence theres a real chance the defendant is innocent, that evidence should be weighed carefully. https://t.co/kaph6D5J6N— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) November 9, 2019
the problem is there are too many prosecutors who are looking for someone to punish, rather than looking for justice to be done.
Thus guy raped a disabled woman and a 12 year old. Proved by DNA
I agree we need to be sure before executing someone. But there have been years and years for that to take place.
Examining his DNA is worth being sure of his guilt or innocence. In fact it should be mandatory now that DNA plays such a crucial role in cases anymore.
Didnt they find his semen in a 12 y/o girl?
Isn’t this guy a proven serial rapist?
Even IF (if if) he didn’t kill THIS woman doesn’t he deserve a one room apartment next to a lake of fire?
