Trump: 'I Will Release the Transcript of the First Ukraine Phone Call Before Week's End'
PJ Media ^ | 11/12/2019 | BY MICHAEL VAN DER GALIEN

On Twitter, President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he will soon release the transcript of the first, "and therefore more important," phone call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The transcript will, he added, be released before the week's end:

Twelve hours before publishing the above tweet, Trump shared the one below:

"In order to continue being the most Transparent President in history, I will be releasing sometime this week the Transcript of the first, and therefore most important, phone call I had with the President of Ukraine. I am sure you will find it tantalizing."

The first call took place in April of this year, right after Zelensky was elected president. If Trump's tweets are anything to go by, he and his Ukrainian counterpart may have spoken about some very interesting matters in that phone call. What, exactly? We will have to wait and see.

In any case, Trump wasn't done with Ukraine just yet. He wrote three more tweets in which he talked about UkraineGate, and they make clear that he's begging for a fight:

This reminds me of when Trump announced that maybe he had recordings of his meetings with Comey right before Comey testified to congress. It had been billed as "Comey is going to crucify Trump" and it was a big nothing burger. Because, I believe, Comey wasn't sure if he could tell lies and get away with it, so he was unexpectedly forced to tell the truth.

Similarly, Trump is sending a message: hold your hearings, then the final word will be what actually happened. So careful what lies you tell.

How do these diplomats go from Poroshenko (who was corrupt as they come) to Zelinsky without skipping a beat.

I believe the one person that can straighten this out is Bolton....and he will defend the President's policies in working with other countries.

From what I'm hearing, these ambassadors think they're the boss. That's not their role. If you don't like the President's policies....leave.

If he doesn’t release it today, I would guess it’s a trap for Schiff. Remember If he hadn’t released the first call, Schiff would have went with the parody version. I sure hope I am right.

I think Bolton is a toss up. Guy is working a weird agenda - other than war everywhere.

If he doesn’t release it today,

the media will spend the next few days talking about it. By the time he does release it, everyone will be aware it is coming.

Yes, but Schiff is locked in because of all the released testimony. The first call may show Zelensky volunteering to investigate Biden and Co. with no prompting.

That's what I think, too.

Probably have to go back into Zelinsky's campaign and see what was going on.

With the new and "unexpected" change in administration....I surely would hold up any funds until I knew what this guy was all about.

The idea that countries acn have new leaders and nothing is questioned is ridiculous.

And Congress should be re-reviewing these funds.

I still cringe at the thought that we give monies to the Palestinians.

“I still cringe at the thought that we give monies to the Palestinians.”

That was cut off last fall.
