Educate me; I’ve been more interested in other things over the ‘past decade’, and may have missed something.
His soul is his own concern. A proper history... in context, and without any camouflage for niceties (much as horrified the McCain worshippers were by the facts of McCain’s support of ISIS, gunrunning with hitlery and his Indonesian bank account with the payoff money— all of which are whispers in DC and part of the broken McCain/Graham circle of hucksters,btw) again, his history needs to be made known, and it will be Georgians who make sure. Fortunately the internet era will allow this to be disseminated. With certain “St. Jimmah” backlash.
Had to laugh out loud at the recent— “oh what a great man” bull crap came out about carter’s “solar farm”— minus multiple facts to give it... lustre. 1.) he leased 10 acres of his own land, that was producing food (peanuts?), to a solar panel company who put up their own panels/ storage batteries etc. (at no cost to him, a gratis demonstration project)- So he is out zero dollars and Part 2.) the pitch for PR is that he “donated the power generated to the town of Plains, Ga! Plains, GA has maybe 500 residents, most of the buildings in town that use power are US Govt. National Park Service buildings (who pay for the electric bills with our tax money!). So, carter takes solar power tax credits and then as a charity donates the power to the mostly govt. paid power bills-— nothing to do with the real working non-govt. affiliated people of the major city— which is the city of Americus, GA (with real, private industry, and working people). Clever cheapskate once again— and it pays better than peanut subsidies.
Point is well taken— young people have been indoctrinated. The history can belie that. One point that will stick with the young— is about the “history repeating” concept— example— Another Middle East involvement (IRAN) derives all the way back to this clown and his party of appeasers. That lesson can be made and would stick— the policies of obamaumao, kerry and the Iran Nuclear Deal... and the reality of Uranium one’s “payment” to Russia was made by the US through Tehran to Moscow— and all done by demonrat fraudsters.
Once he’s gone may we have another look at recycling or glassifying our nuclear wast?

Like we are not capable enough to perform an industrial operation even the French manage with no issues.
Instead we’ve wasted decades and tons of money on “The Yucca Mountain Nuclear Repository”.
Should also add that the current crop of millenial moron dems— are being re-taught or re-propagandized in all of the same old socialist claptrap. The elements of the cultural make up of the younger millenial voters— who do want to get ahead and hunger for the good life (just don’t want to work for it)- provide the chance to show a clear choice— the failed past vs. the huge opportunity of the future that is NOT a socialist democrat dependency on govt. Opportunity vs. un affordablity. To the point that clearly the math wont work for the Liz Warren/Bernie Sanders line of bull. The dems are seriously in trouble, and Biden isn’t going to cut it. Hence... impeachment as the distraction.

There are plenty of old and dying people in my personal life, who I will honor and pay my respects to at the time of their passing - whose flaws I can choose to overlook and whose sins I can forgive.
But honor Jimmy Carter? No thanks.
There is only one reason we are even talking about him, and one reason alone: because a lot of misguided Democrats once elected him President.
So I say, let’s pay him the respect he deserves for that - which is not much, if you ask me.

You don’t cast pearls before swine....you have to be mindful of the audience you are venting your spleen to. Of course one might admit one’s weaknesses...with other Christian males at a prayer breakfast; for scripture tells us to “confess one’s faults one to another”. Scripture doesn’t tell us to confess them to a writer from Playboy who will probably deliberately misinterpret and misconstrue the context from which your true confessions derive!
I believe had Carter made these comments to a writer from Christianity Today(of 1978-79 not today’s mess), we would have had a more contextualized and better understanding of what Carter was trying to say as opposed to the slanderous mess we got from Playboy.
you should look up his policies toward Israel..... I think this man hated Jews more than Obama does.
