Nikki Haley reveals Tillerson, Kelly privately discussed resisting Trump: ‘It was offensive’

Former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley blasted former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, recalling a private conversation where they defended resisting President Trump, telling her they did so out of necessity. […]

Haley said that the two men “confided in me that when they resisted the president, they weren’t being insubordinate, they were trying to save the country” and how “Tillerson went on to tell me the reason he resisted the president’s decisions was because, if he didn’t, people would die….”

Haley, however, was not impressed.

“It should’ve been, ‘Go tell the president what your differences are, and quit if you don’t like what he’s doing,’” Haley told O’Donnell. “But to undermine a president is really a very dangerous thing. And it goes against the Constitution, and it goes against what the American people want. And it was offensive.” …

This has nothing to do with Trump. I don’t think you read the article.

Only those who value the Constitution, which is a dwindling number.

Did NIKKI warn PRESIDENT TRUMP about the undermining? That is the question I would like to have NIKKI answer.

Yes, Haig did say ‘I'm in charge here”, but he said it after Reagan was shot, and VP Bush was absent in a plane traveling outside the country and unavailable.

The reason he lost credibility is that he seemed to be ignoring the constitution, that passed the power to the VP etc. The press hated him so destroyed him as being power hungry, but he was actually trying to assure the country to stay calm.

However, if the shooting of Reagan had been a communist plan, i.e. prior to an attack on the USA, Haig would have been right.

as for Tillerson, one reason to agree with Haley is that Trump fired him when he was overseas, right after he assured the Euroweenies that he would stop Trump from changing things in NATO etc.

There were others. Gen. McMaster, Jeff Sessions, Scaramucci, Omarossa, Mattis, Rosenstein. Where did he dig these people up?

Must’ve been a whisper campaign going on with folks being told of the super secret Russia Russia Russia Trump collusion illusion, and they believed it hook, line, and sinker. So they thought they had to save the country from the only Patriot Washington, D.C. had seen in 30 years.

Tillerson is how the Boy Scouts went queer. You don’t need to know more to see he’s a waste of skin and oxygen.

This is pretty damn simple.

You have every right to your own opinion, but when the President makes a decision and you are on his staff, you obey and support it. Period. Or you leave.

Anything else is unethical, insubordinate, and chickenshit.

Wanna bet how Tillerson would have viewed similar talk from his C level staff at Exxon-Mobil?

Well, we DO know that Tillerson called Trump an idiot while on the job, and repeated it on his way out the door. Mad Dog Mattis said the same on his way out. Kelly made little effort to hide HIS disrespect for Trump toward the end of his gig. Knowing that; I believe Nikki. Trump’s changes to trade deals, etc. brought an end to the Manila envelopes of cash that had been coming over the transom every month. THAT really pizzt those guys off.
