The media frenzy has already begun around a forthcoming book by a person known only as "Anonymous." Excerpts are slowly being leaked out to liberal opinion hosts like MSNBC's Rachel Maddow in an effort to serve up the usual red meat to her audience.
In this case, an old question must be asked: Where's the beef in this red meat? Because Anonymous is just that: An unknown entity. There are lots of perks to that.
He or she also literally declared in the title of a 2018 New York Times op-ed: "I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration."
Im sure there won't be any agenda here or twisting of narratives or facts whatsoever.
By remaining anonymous, the authors credibility cannot be scrutinized. He or she can't be questioned on camera, for it would mean revealing the authors true identity. Nor can we question the harrowing tales of President Trump, and the clear and present danger he supposedly presents to the nation, which neither Aaron Sorkin nor Oliver Stone could script any better.
Using basic logic and presenting an argument that few broadcast journalists will broach, has anyone considered out loud why Anonymous chooses to stay anonymous?
The most reasonable answer is easy to arrive at: Because he or she is a low-level administration employee who doesn't have any real access or interaction with the president or senior decisionmakers in the Trump administration.

Gotta keep the meme going.
Orange man bad, reason MMMCCLVI.
Is it Joe Klein?
If outed can he be charged with cybercrimes? Libel? (When “Anonymous” accused Knoxville Mayor Madelyn Rogero of being in the KKK)?
“Ich bin ein Anonymous”?
When you think of the numbers that have not a clue as to what is going on or do not care, well, God help us all.
Probably screenwriter wannabe Schifty Schif.
Of course, we all believe Anonymous, just like we believed Ballsey Ford and the porn star’s lawyer who later turned out to be a con man and an embezzler. Just like we believed Rachel Maddow and the rest of the MSM when they took us on a 30-month ride through BS-ville, promising impeachable offenses galore.
Just like we believed Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Strzok, and Lisa Page.
Now seriously, what could go wrong?
I wouldn't be surprised if the WashingtonComPost wrote this fake book themselves and published it to make their fake, made-up "news" stories sound real.
Enough with the anonymous fake news reporting about anonymous fake news. Enough already.
If a news source doesn't report the NAME of their source, corroborated by other NAMED sources, I don't believe any of it anymore.
For an account to be credible, it has to have a named source. Period.
Anybody can make up scurrilous information anonymously. Without a name, it is just fake news.
Anonymous, my ass.
It is hard to believe that some ambitious reporter with mobility could not find out who this person is. Not to mention some low-level intelligence officer.
Examine new Swiss bank accounts, etc.
I think the WashingtonComPost made it up, had it published and is using it as a basis for trashing Trump, anonymously, of course.
Without a named author, named sources collaborating the story, this is just fake news.
Anybody could make this sh*t up. Try one of the night janitors at the WashingtonComPost. They're probably making some extra money on the side.
“ou presume this a real book.”
I said nothing about the book.
There is someone behind it. He needs to be outed.
You say they need to be outed.
I say the book, author and the content is fake.
