I remember all the “Sessions is coming to drain the swamp” and “Trust Sessions” bullshit around here.

I believe Sessions was one of the first to endorse Trump for president, and he had a strong conservative record in the Senate. On paper, at least, he seemed like a winner. In any case, he sure sucked as AG.
