Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton responded to a question about whether she’s going to run in the 2020 election and make a third bid for the presidency after losing two races, notably not ruling out such a run.
After joking that she wouldn’t be taking up “competitive running,” she told a reporter at the New York Times Dealbook event on Wednesday that she thought he was asking about a different kind of run.
“There’s been some teasing and some hinting that maybe you’re sitting off to the wings here waiting for some moment,” the reporter said.
“I think I would’ve been a really good president. I think I could have been a very effective leader,” she responded, to applause.

Yeah I figured that she’d throw her pointed hat into the ring once Creepy Joe’s star faded, but now she’ll have to contend with Bloomberg being the flavor of the month. It’s great to watch liberal blood sport, though. It’s a sub-nominee battle to think of Plugs, Shrillary, and Bloomburgermeister trying to jockey around and siphon moderate votes from the Leftoids who want to turn us into the United States of Venezuela. Truth be told, those Three Stooges are just lower octane versions of the Marx cultists comprising the rest of the field.

She’ll be saying that with her dying breath. She expected to be the first woman president, and that means should would have been the most powerful woman ever. I understand the disappointment politicians must go through when they’ve wanted to be president all their lives, and say they are convinced that it is their divinely-appointed destiny to be president, but sometimes plans go unfulfilled and the will of God gets misread, and it comes the time to move on. I think Al Gore experienced the same thing. Please, please, please, Hillary Clinton, for your sake and ours, move on.
