Correct. There will be two impeachment votes before the election. One in the House around New Years and then another one in the Senate after an impeachment trial circus.
And they are going to lose the House and lose more seats in the Senate because of this. No one said the Democrats weren’t stupid enough to impeach, they are on a political suicide mission and have nothing left to lose.

Even though I hold many members of Congress in contempt, Congress cannot hold the executive branch in contempt.
The branches were designed to hold each other in contempt.
A constant battle.

This hatred of TRUMP is a lot deeper than most of us here want to admit I am afraid. There are a lot of dipsh*t ‘educated’ folks who will be dead or going hungry and dying within 10 years of the new socialist govt because they can’t find their way out of a paper bag when needed nor find a trash can to eat from to survive, BUT they got rid of TRUMP in 2020 by GOD!!!!
I would expect that all future presidents will be judged the same way under the expectation of fairness which doesn't bode well for the country. People are so angry that the people will be demanding a special council and one-sided investigations and threats of impeachment for every president from here on out.
The question will be: can the country recover and eventually lift itself out of the gutter or will the Democrats, Republicans, etc. all treat each other like enemies in the worst way.
As someone mentioned above — this anger is directed at us; those of us who voted for Trump. Will the Democrats then turn their focus and their attacks on average Americans? I am very concerned.
