...The New York Times foreshadowed on Monday in an ominous analysis of recent polling data, the 2020 election unfolds differently. Trump wins but without a mandate. On the contrary, he earns something like an anti-mandate...
Trump remains quite competitive in the states that put him over the top in the Electoral College last time Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Those are states he would likely carry, as he did last time, by a relatively narrow margin. Meanwhile, Trump's extreme and intense unpopularity among Democrats points to a 2020 vote in which the margin of his loss in "blue" states could be enormous. Instead of winning an anemic 31.6 percent of the vote in California, as he did in 2016, Trump might realistically pull in just 25 percent in 2020...
... Democrats and their allies would be perfectly justified in taking to the streets in outraged protest, and they would almost certainly do so in numbers that would rival or surpass what we've seen in recent weeks in Chile. More radical factions, including troublemaking Antifa activists, would do their best to spark violence, with the president egging them on with taunts on Twitter, and in speeches at rallies and at official events.
With protests growing in size and unrest increasing, municipalities would send in the police, just as Trump would eventually deploy the national guard, to restore order using force. Which would only intensify the indignation fueling the protests, leading the cycle to continue and escalate...

That is a very good analogy.
As long as the rules are adhered to, the winner is the winner.
The whiners are the whiners...
Now Obama...won by beating the electoral college mathematically...working the districts that would have the most Dem votes.....as long as they got the vote out....which is what they're good at.
He’s going to obliterate them. Why? This time the Dem candidate will not have the Obama caliphate, the FBI, the CIA, and the Attorney generals office helping them cheat. There will be no FISA warrants to spy on Trump AND on top of this he has proven himself very capable when it comes to the economy, trade and employment.
I would guess a few million Republicans don't bother to vote in states like California.
In 2020, that needs to change.
Yes, we know the dems have 5 million illegal alien voters in Los Angeles County. Big whoop
No Clinton has ever won a majority of the popular vote. I suspect that Lincoln, who won big league in the electoral college, would not have won a majority in a run-off system, with southerners and Missourians going for Bell in a run-off or border staters and Missourians going for Breckinridge.
Woodrow Wilson (’12, ‘16), Richard Nixon (’68), Bill Clinton (’92, ‘96), JFK, George W. Bush (2000), Truman (’48) and others did not get an outright majority of the popular vote.
Why? The Presidential election is won ONLY by electoral votes. Nothing else matters.
And how many of those five million Dem voters will be legal and alive?
I don’t understand your statement. ONLY electoral votes matter. Why should everyone have to vote in their state again?
If he wins the popular vote, or loses it by tens points, makes no matter. If he wins the electoral vote again the Left WILL riot. Because they’re just freaking insane.
Then...he still is President.
Its a baseball game where the team winning the most innings wins the game. Or a series where the most games win, not the cumulative runs.
It makes sense when you understand why. But, too many folks equate elections with Dancing with The Stars.
This is why we have a Second Amendment. President Trump has nothing to fear.
Most Democratic big cities have fake votes in large numbers.
Good luck getting the MSM to cover it.
Here is one recent example that got covered because the loser in the Democratic primary sued because of the vote fraud:

But it would destroy the narrative that Trump lost the popular vote, which in turns increases his leverage.
