This should have happened 10 years ago. Deutsche Bank had more crap mortgages on it’s books than Carter’s has pills.

Yeah, last number I heard on derivatives was way north of 600 trillion dollars but that was a long time ago.
I’m sure the current number makes the unfunded liabilities (U.S.) look like peanuts. I can believe your number. Wouldn’t surprise.[
And our unfunded liabilities dwarf the national debt - last I was, $126+ trillion or so verses 23+ trillion.
Have to jump on the debt clock again and see what are the latest numbers they are reporting.

That was my exact thought...when Deutsche Bank fails, Europe will be in trouble but that money will head straight to the U.S.
The most unfortunate part of this situation is that many Americans would like us to travel the same path as Germany and the E.U. They will not admit socialist policies have failed everywhere in history, are failing Europe today, and they will fail here, too.
