Your definition of a public line may not be accurate.
Do you think Crown Prince used your version of a public line when he ordered the hit that Gina Haspel may or may not have said was recorded.
I don’t know anything about the Clarion Project. Some or none of the following story may be true
https://clarionproject.org/revealed-khashoggi-was-a-qatari-asset/
But is shows exactly why a Head of State would inform another Head of State.
Btw, Imam of Peace is hot and heavy on Qatar undermining the US including through Ilhan Omar. There is a current law suit over the ordered hit of someone that may bring out more details.

Yes, the presidents son in law gave a Saudi Royal permission to arrest a subversive Saudi citizen
In Turkey no less
Because....Trump wanted to build condos in Saudi, or a pipeline or...something,.,
Follow the logic

Imam of Peace @Imamofpeace · This is one of Ilhan Omars handlers. He has disappeared since I began exposing him with tweets and articles to the English world. Hey @IlhanMN , where is @A_AlAthbah ? 🤣 Who is Abdullah al-Athbah, The Emir of Qatar's Close Friend!?

Total BS. This is jut another weak liberal attempt to blame Trump. Jared in no way was an authority to greenlight anything.
Typical liberal fantasy.

Does credibility matter these days?
Obviously, Kushner is now being seriously targeted to be removed from his WH position and/or being tied to the impeachment investigations.

We know for a fact that WAPO has been a propaganda tool for the CIA in the past. I adamantly believe that even though Operation Mockingbird was officially disbanded...it continued on in various ways.
Now consider this as you continue to claim that the Crown Prince would never inform an American POTUS about the operation on Jamal.
https://clarionproject.org/revealed-khashoggi-was-a-qatari-asset/
"Now, as details are emerging about Khashoggi being a Qatari agent of influence, even The Washington Post realized they were vulnerable. In a piece most certainly written for damage control, WaPo revealed, Text messages between Khashoggi and an executive at Qatar Foundation International show that the executive, Maggie Mitchell Salem, at times shaped the columns he submitted to The Washington Post, proposing topics, drafting material and prodding him to take a harder line against the Saudi government. WaPo also wrote about Khashoggis Brotherhood friends in the U.S., including CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic-Relations) and his ties with senior officials in the Turkish government. They mentioned the rumors that documents from wire transfers from Qatar were found at his homes in Turkey and in Virginia.

Heh, no kidding...honestly, there is no news outlet I really trust. The WSJ is not bad for getting initial news with a straighter story, but their opinion content often rapidly diverges from my own inclinations.
Anywhere John Solomon, Clarice Feldman, Chuck Ross (NOT Chuck Todd!) or Sarah Carter write is usually good, because they are doing the types of reporting the MSM no longer does.
Truthful investigative.

No-no-no. The Turkish government bribed Trump but would only tell him that the money was under a giant “W”. It took this long for members of the NRA to find it, which is why the troops are being withdrawn now.

The operation was on Jamal was so significant and with such major ramifications that the Crown Prince ABSOLUTELY should have reached out to Trump or his cut-out because Jamal’s activities effected the US.
The question becomes did Turkey use it for blackmail to get Trump to withdraw from Syria.
Given that the Crown Prince ABSOLUTELY should have told the cut-out it will be interesting to see how they spin it as being blackmailable....and if they do this..it is opening a can of worms they will wish they kept shut.

If Turkish Intelligence were to have “intercepts” of the call (as stated in the article) then I’d say it wasn’t a secure line. Now I don’t believe that but that was my point.

All of that truly is interesting, but the bottom line for me is that khashoggi remained a Saudi citizen.
They don’t need my permission to arrest one of their own citizens in a foreign country inside their own consulate.
So, why call Kushner, if they did? To me, if it happened at all, it was a courtesy, but I’m more inclined to wait for real sources and evidence.
I simply don’t trust the media at all, and especially when it involves Trump or Jews.

I didnt say inform.
I cited the article. Asked permission
Doubtful.
The Qatari angle is old news.
Someday we might really know what Kashoggi did to threaten the Royals.
And why his assassination really set off the Bezos Post
