A pregnant woman is credited with saving the lives of her husband and daughter after she used an AR-15 to fatally gun down a home intruder, a report said.
The hero mom sprung into action when two intruders entered the familys Lithia, Fla. home last week and pistol whipped her husband while violently grabbing their daughter, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office.
They came in heavily hooded and masked, the husband, Jeremy King, told Bay News 9.

I shot a bobcat not long ago with ar-15 while sitting in a polaris ranger.... with windshield and top, but no doors or back glass. I thought I might never hear again. Cant imagine one going off in a little house.
Gun grabbers hate this kind of story.
A good ending for all.
Prayers up for the man who got hurt and for the trauma the wife and girl have experienced.
If the bad guy was running away and already outside he would no longer beca threat and the shooting is no longer self defense.
So google search it and find out yourself and stop stirring the pot.
Is that all you know how to do?
There's no reason for the guy to be running first. They clearly had no intention of backing down so tell us why he'd be running before she shot him and then why the other guy took off. For no reason?
If you'd think it through, you could figure stuff like this out yourself.
“We do not keep this weapon Locked in a safe. It is readily available at all times and fully loaded in case of necessity.”
Good. If you have to unlock your weapon and go to another room for ammo, you will not survive. Remember, the rules of keeping a firearm and ammo in different places were made up by liberals who don’t mind seeing you dead.
“So google search it and find out yourself and stop stirring the pot.”
Already did and all I can find is the same report word for word with the same confusing statement.
I see some of the differences in the way we think.
“can find is the same report word for word with the same confusing statement.”
Only you are confused.
Notice the part of the article where they say Hillsborough country filed charges against the woman? Nope. It’s not there. That’s because most FL counties place the burden of proving innocence upon criminals not their intended victims.
Only tyrants (aka Leftists) punish the innocent for the actions of criminals.
There is additional in this video. Not only was the bad guy in the home, he had already fired his wepion.
Self defence.
Then why was he running away?
He felt unthreatened enough to beat up her husband and grab their child...
.....if he saw her gun, he ran.....maybe
...but he had already done damage
And she was certainly in her right to think he might come back!!!!
“Only tyrants (aka Leftists) punish the innocent for the actions of criminals.”
That is what I was afraid of.
But...but....weapons of war dont belong in the hands of civilians!...
When a criminal breaks into your house and you are in fear for your life, that situation is now a war.
And dims want to disarm us to give the advantage to the bad guys.
This story dissapears in 3..2..1
Justice has just been served.
From reading the story in the NY Post and viewing the video, it sounds like the wife shot the man outside through a window after he shot at her. Inside or out, it won’t matter in Florida unless there is something more to the story. Nothing against AR-15s (except they look like something that fell off the bottom of a truck), but it sounds like she could have killed him just as dead with a lever action .30-30 deer rifle.
Hilarious!
Good news.
Anyone hooded and masked (except maybe on Halloween) should be fair game for shooting by any armed citizen.
Ping.
We do not keep this weapon Locked in a safe. It is readily available at all times and fully loaded in case of necessity.
Cops will find a way to charge them with child negligence b/c the weapon was not locked away with an underage child in the house.
