Internal Mueller documents show Trump campaign chief pushed unproven theory Ukraine hacked Democrats

President Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, suggested as early as the summer of 2016 that Ukrainians might have been responsible for hacking the Democratic National Committee during the presidential campaign rather than Russians, a key witness told federal investigators last year.

Newly released documents show that Manafort’s protege, deputy campaign manager Rick Gates, told the FBI of Manafort’s theory during interviews conducted as part of former special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign. Gates told the FBI that Manafort had shared his theory of Ukrainian culpability with him and other campaign aides before the election.

A DNC “ hack’ was set up ( by or from Ukraine) to look like ( or be claimed as) “ Russian intrusion” and this was used to get the FISA process underway and get the FBI to pursue Flynn, Manafort and other Trump associates

That’s the “ unproven conspiracy theory”

The FBI was never given access to the “ hacked” server
The DNC “ hired” Crowdstrike to investigate the hack ( Clinton donors) and that is the basis of the Russian meddling story

What FBI Director and FBI leadership would ever accept this?
Wait, we know

The ComPost, WITHOUT EVIDENCE, claimed “collusion” for years.

Paul Manafort? You mean, WashingCIA Post, the guy Trump fired immediately when he discovered Manafort was involved with Ukraine?

Oh right, THAT guy.

It is a good bet that EVERYBODY hacked the unsecure DNC server. Everyone from Russian Intelligence to the 14 year old kid with his smartphone in Andorra.

I am sure it was hacked by many sources and the data was also stolen by the late Seth Rich.

Why would anyone believe anything a democrat says at this point? I certainly don’t. The DNC server wasn’t “hacked”.

“They never mentioned “unproven theory” during the Russia hoax.”

Russia’s guilty in the DNC hack was asserted by a Ukrainian-American — attorneys for the DNC told the FBI, which never examined the DNC servers and logs. Isn’t that enough proof?

Gee, wouldn’t have been ice if CNN, et al, showed the same interest into what was in and what happened to those e-mails (which turned out to be far more than 30,000) as the Trump campaign?

I wonder how the election might have gone if the e-mails between Clinton and Obama weren’t pulled and hidden by Strozk and Comey? And where is the response from the IC Michael Horowitz with this revelation?

This is just another example of making Trump the bad guy for looking into the wrong doings of other people.

Something big and dirty went on in Ukraine during Obama’s terms in office - and I bet the Biden stuff is just the tip of the iceberg.
