Debates can make or break you. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) underwent quite the rise when she took on Biden on the debate stage. Now, she’s closing field offices in New Hampshire. She wasn’t ready for primetime. People know she’s left-wing, but that has not translated into any clear agenda for the country. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) knifing her on stage for her tough record as a prosecutor in which Harris is known to toss scores of marijuana users in jail. Former Vice President Joe Biden has the more ignominious fall. Barack Obama, the most popular Democrat in recent memory, won’t endorse him, his fundraising hauls are not what you’d expect from someone considered a heavyweight in the party, and he’s fallen to fourth place in a recent Iowa poll. Yeah, the nominee, the guy who was supposed to lock this up could lose the first critical primary for the 2020 season (via The Hill):
A new poll shows a tight race in Iowa, with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) leading the early voting state and former Vice President Joe Biden slipping to fourth.The New York Times–Siena College poll released Friday showed Warren with 22 percent support from likely Democratic caucusgoers, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) with 19 percent, South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) with 18 percent and Biden with 17 percent. All four fall close to the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 4.7 percentage points.
No other candidate was near the top four, who were distantly trailed by Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) with 4 percent, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) with 3 percent and entrepreneur Andrew Yang with 3 percent.
The survey is among a series of recent polls showing Warren leading the field in Iowa. A RealClearPolitics average of polls showed the senator ahead of the former vice president by an average of 5 percentage points Friday morning.
Biden was ahead due to name recognition and the notion that he could be the only Democrat could beat Trump, given his blue-collar background. Ten years ago, yes, I’d agree that Biden could have chipped away at some of Trump’s base of support. Not now. Not with this Trump impeachment circus engulfing the Hill and certainly not with how left-wing the Democratic Party has become. Should Biden win the nomination, he would need to veer very much to the Left and his lays to the center will seem inauthentic at best. His serial gaffes are also an issue; there’s a reason why he was never a frontrunner in his past failed presidential attempts. I think Joe has fallen, and if he keeps tripping up on the trail, hauling in weak sauce cash totals, and look mediocre on the debate stage—he won’t get up.
I still.dont understand his comments about turning on the record player. He’s incoherent sometimes.

Biden doesn’t need to win Iowa, just be competitive.
Likewise NH isn’t a must win, as long as he keeps it close.
South Carolina though seems like a must win for Biden if he wants to continue running for the nomination.
I don’t see Lizzie Warren playing too well in the South.
The Dems have all been linking themselves to their sacred duty to honor the Constitution and especially the Founding Fathers by removing Trump.
Any day now Joe Biden will say: "I was all for those guys once. Then I found out I misheard. I thought they were the Fondling Fathers. Oh well."
What a canard. He's NEVER been blue-collar, never worked in a factory or a mine. His dad was wealthy but fell on hard times and they had to move to an apartment. Dad later sold cars.

Biden received student draft deferments during this period, at the peak of the Vietnam War, and in 1968, he was reclassified by the Selective Service System as not available for service due to having had asthma as a teenager.He never took part in anti-war demonstrations, later saying that at the time he was preoccupied with marriage and law school, and "wore sports coats ... not tie-dyed".

He meant to say Paris Climate Accords.

The local paper published my comment over the absence of the VP Biden story bragging about getting his son’s Ukrainian company prosecutor fired by withholding US funds from Ukraine. All on a video taken at CFR. Abuse of office for personal gain. And the Congressional Reps running against Trump do the same by not recusing themselves from the impeachment votes.

My mother’s pushing 70 and thinks 1962 was “peak civilization.” I asked her, shortly after the debate, what kids used to learn from the record player. She said he probably meant to say tv, because aside from educational recordings, all you learn from a record player is the absolute superiority of vinyl.
I was around 10 when I first encountered an actual record player. The experience was quite similar to those videos you see of teens trying to make a call on a rotary phone. Or making a case for voting for Biden. Clueless. He cannot win the nomination in his condition. He scarcely seems capable of chewing his own food.
I wondered aloud why Biden was running when he first announced, I knew there had to be some ulterior motive to animate his creepy carcass into a gruelling race,
I now believe Joe Biden only ran to foster this treasonous and and seditious impeachment coup attempt,
They knew their illegal activities in the Ukraine and elsewhere were being examined and concocted this evil scheme to sidetrack any probe,
