Lying Warren indeed has a problem with the truth. Elizabeth Warren wants to pay for Medicare for All with a $9 trillion tax that will hit the middle class. Warren says it’s not a tax. But what else would you call a requirement that employers send money to the federal government to finance a public program?

She left out the 500,000 future unemployed health insurance workers in her estimate. More welfare?

More taxes on corporations = even more unemployment = fewer taxes collected = more welfare.

Better tax enforcement? CBO says that increasing IRS enforcement by 35% would generate.... $55 billion in revenue over a decade. Warren is counting on getting 40 times that.

Taxes on all financial transactions? The middle-class is indeed most affected!

Immigration reform? We already know that is not going to happen with the Democrats running things.

Yeah, I picked up on that 2.6 trillion through increased enforcement. Even if this wasn’t a fantasy pipe dream, do you really want to live in the country if they were actually trying to accomplishing this? They’d be going after everybody. The IRS would have to become the Inquisition.

I’d like her to tell us what a “tax” is, and how she defines middle class. There’s a lot of wiggle room, especially for a candidate who is known for telling lies. And the media will continue to protect her from accountability. She’s impossible to trust or believe.

$52 trillion over ten years works out to about $40,000 a year from every household in the US, about 2/3 of their income, just for Medicare.

She can do this without raising taxes simply by printing money for it. This strategy hurts low wage earners the most, of course, but most of them won’t figure that out.
