They will just redefine “middle class” to include only people making less than $10,000 per year. In Canada the supplemental “tax on the rich” starts at about $200,00 income. Our “Top 1%” starts at $191,000 per year in income. If you’re in Toronto where the average house costs more than $1 million, a $200,000 heavily taxed income does not make you rich.

That’s easy, you just change the definition of ‘middle class’ to any family of 4 that has income under 30k. That way everyone with a job pays for it and she didn’t raise the taxes on the middle class.
