Sabotage? Domestic terrorism by YOU-KNOW-WHO? You know, the guys here whose leader was snuffed in Syria? Just sayin’. That line is not that old.

That is really disappointing. The 30-year old Alaska pipeline just had it’s worse spill ever at about 250,000 gallons last spring - corroded pipe.

Hard to believe a new pipe could have such a leak. I wouldn’t put it past the environmentalist to have messed with it - although if that was the case the company would have mentioned it. I’m glad that it appears the spill was fairly contained.

And to put some perspective to it - the Valdez spilled 11 million gallons of crude.

Current incident estimates published by the company say that 9,120 US barrels (383,040 gallons) or “approximately half the size of an Olympic-sized swimming pool” of crude oil were released into an impacted area of 2,500 square yards - which is “less than half the size of a football field.”

...

Doesn’t seem so bad when you think of it is half a pool.

Crude oil is all natural, organic and aged to perfection.

And after it leaks from the pipe, it’s free range.

I’m guessing it was sabotage.

Half the size of an Olympic size pool.

And it's all recoverable. No big deal.

Oil leak news to be taken with a grain of salt.Look at the source for the news. Sputnik News, a Russian disinformation site. Do you think that if there was a major Keystone oil leak that it would not be plastered all over the mainstream media excoriating Trump?

“This is not the first spill from Keystone 1; the pipeline had a dozen spills in its first year of operation alone,” the environmental organization noted."

And how many "spills" have other, less notorious, pipelines had?? How does the saying go "Once is happenstance, twice is bad luck, three (or twelve) is enemy action". Can we say "sabotage"??

Wow...a real major catastrophe/sarcasm(half a football field). The pipeline is fairly new but it shows the monitoring systems work.

I’m pretty sure we would have heard about this from a better source than this. Have we?

OMG! DISASTER! 383,040 GALLONS! Enough oil to cover the ENTIRE STATE! Not quite.

It’s just a black spot in a field.

See photos and video at link
https://www.inforum.com/business/energy-and-mining/4746575-Keystone-Pipeline-leak-spills-383040-gallons-of-oil-in-northeastern-North-Dakota

Tanker trucks full of Dawn have arrived as well as volunteers to begin the daunting task of washing the oil off of the earthworms struggling to survive this DISASTER!

There is no way to determine just how devastated the earthworm population of this field is, but one estimate is that .0001% of the earthworm population of this field have been impacted.

I quite literally walked up and touched the Alaska pipeline at one point-out of pure curiosity. This was a long time ago now.

So, yeah. This was Sabotage.
