Oh No! I hope Obama’s new house on Martha’s Vineyard is ok. You would think they would have bought on higher ground if they really believed this bull...I mean science! /s

Well I’m in the middle of the Ozarks, USA at 1100’ ASL so I hope it rises a lot. An ocean view would really be nice here.

I heard this in the 70s with that idiot Paul Erlich. We are supposed to be underwater or undergoing famine now.

“More” cities? It hasn’t erased a single one yet.

Does that mean I am going to drown tonight??? These nitwit “researchers” with their faulty predictions are an embarrassment to logic-capable people. They should be beaten senseless with their worthless dissertations and with their lousy anti-science “research”.

You would think “sea level rise” would be devastating to ocean side sea salt production pools.

“The rising seas which submerged the salt workshops led to the abandonment of Punta Ycacos salt production sites. The sea level played an important role in the Mayan civilization as the level of the sea determined the availability of resources and habitable land for the ancient coastal areas of the Mayan civilization. “

“The Late Classic Period of the Maya Civilization started around 600 AD”

Hmmmmm, Could “man made” climate change (industrial revolution 1800’s) been the cause of sea level rise in 600AD?

In France

“The saline-marshes in the Guérande peninsula:
The Guérande peninsula is located in the southeast of Brittany, northward of the estuary of Loire. For fifteen centuries, people have fitted out this zone of swamps situated at the level of the ocean to produce the sea salt by natural evaporation of the sea water. At the present time, the surface occupied by the saline-marshes is around 2000 hectares.
From the open sea to the rectangular pools (”oeillets”) where the salt crystallizes, the salinity increases progressively until 27%.

FIFTEEN CENTURIES! Still doing it TODAY. How can this be? Rising sea levels should have overflowed the salt pools by now.

The sea level rising is not in The Book of Revelation.

Well, I said you would see a lot happening (by 2050) as opposed to your assertion you would see nothing will happen. Chapter 8 shows some of the plagues to strike earth which are cataclysmic enough to cause real climate change. Specifically "a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea and the third part of the sea became blood. And the part of the creatures which were in the sea that had life, died, and the third part of the ships were destroyed."Rev. 8:8,9
It sounds like interesting times. I hope I'm not here.

The “Soylent Oceanographic Survey Report: 2015 to 2019” indicated that the oceans had died by the second decade of the 21st century ...

Makes it easier to walk over then.

Can we desalinate that soil and grow more crops?

More real estate landmass, whole new countries could be established.

opens up a whole new opportunity to get in on the ground floor (so to speak) of a whole new future generation of beach front property, too, right?
