Full title: 'No further discussion': Talks halt between whistleblower lawyers and Schiff staff amid expectation he won’t testify.
The whistleblower whose complaint launched impeachment proceedings against President Trump is unlikely to testify to Congress, as talks have ceased between his legal team and committee leaders.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who has overseen depositions in Democrats' impeachment proceeding, was initially eager for the whistleblower to testify before citing concern about the person being identified.
Republicans accuse Schiff, a California Democrat, of changing course to prevent inquiries into his staff's dealings with the whistleblower before he filed his Aug. 12 complaint to the Intelligence Community inspector general.
A source familiar with the discussions told the Washington Examiner that talks halted over potential testimony from the whistleblower and there is no discussion of testimony from a second whistleblower, who supported the first's claims.
“There is no indication that either of the original whistleblowers will be called to testify or appear before the Senate or House Intelligence committees. There is no further discussion ongoing between the legal team and the committees,” the person said.

Wasn’t it Mitch that punted this to Senate Intelligence vs. Judicial? Burr and Warner are the top dogs that lead Intelligence committee. I read that it should have gone to the Senate Judicial Committee but McConnell knowing Burr and Warner would do nothing and won’t really fight for our President, assigned it to them.
So all of this Senate will fight for Trump is a dog and pony show.

So their second hand info “witness” won’t testify? So without a witness it seems they have less than nothing.

I have no doubt that Ciarmella (Pronounced "CHAR-a-mella") was convinced by various people orchestrating this (because there is no doubt it is orchestrated) that there would be no "risk" to him, he would never be called on to testify, he only had to kick the thing off and the "whistleblower" status would protect his anonymity. So Ciaramella probably thought he could "do his part" with little risk. Because Leftists can't think one step ahead.

And Ciaramella worked with a Democratic National Committee operative who dug up dirt on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election, inviting her into the White House for meetings, former White House colleagues said. The operative, Alexandra Chalupa, a Ukrainian-American who supported Hillary Clinton, led an effort to link the Republican campaign to the Russian government. “He knows her. He had her in the White House,” said one former co-worker, who requested anonymity to discuss the sensitive matter..."
THAT "Charlie" Ciaramella. Is it ANY surprise the Left and the Media expended every resource and tactic they could muster to protect the identity of this "concerned, patriotic government servant"?

Interesting thought, however, at first read it sounds like “Charlie” may be a FBI investigator who is part of Mueller’s team. I’m curious who “Katie” and her husband may be and how they fit in the picture as it sounds as if he may be another mole who is trying to recruit people within the Executive to spy on Trump.
Regardless...this cancer runs deeper than I think most of us thought and it is going to take a Herculean effort to root out this evil. I’m afraid the squishy RINO’s that are currently representative of the Republican party are complicit in the Deep State and must be excised as well.
The country is spiraling towards another civil war and I wonder if the nation can survive this one.

Why anyone would keep on any "holdovers" from an Obama administration is beyond me. I know there is continuity to consider, but the risks seem to outweigh that to me.
At minimum, Graham should write a public letter to Pelosi, Schiff, Nader, and Schumer with a list of swamp creatures that will be called to testify in a Senate trial, including Comey, Brennan, McCabe, Clapper, Stzrok, Lisa Page, Simpson, Halper, and Misfud’s recorded deposition —
— and yes, pajama boy Eric and Schiff.
Watch how quickly this gets shut down...
