Well, Happy Halloween.
The whistleblower is now pretty well outed by investigative journalist Paul Sperry and it's prettu underwhelming. He's been identified as one Eric Ciaramella, 33, prep school grad, Yalie, Obama backwash, political operative, and fanatic Trump hater. Hardly the Mister Probity concerned about national security that he's been painted.
Sperry did the digging, but pointed out that that the man's identity had been an open secret in the Beltway, with mainstream media doing their darndest to keep his name from being attached to his rather spectacular charges.
Federal documents reveal that the 33-year-old Ciaramella, a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia “collusion” investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.
Ciaramella's name should be out there because it's rather relevant whether all the hearsay in his legally couched charge was actually made in good faith or was just another leftist smear job under cover of government mechanisms, same as the Trump dossier.
Based on Sperry's digging, it certainly looks like the latter.
From Sperry's reporting, we learn that this creep wasn't trying to make anything better within government, which is what whistleblower protections are for. He was just another leftist trying to overturn the 2016 election, and it dated from way back, starting with his propensity to leak.
In May 2017, Ciaramella went “outside his chain of command,” according to a former NSC co-worker, to send an email alerting another agency that Trump happened to hold a meeting with Russian diplomats in the Oval Office the day after firing Comey, who led the Trump-Russia investigation. The email also noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin had phoned the president a week earlier.

If the media has known for a month the GOPe knows too. That might explain Trump’s retweet today regarding “Republican’s standing together.”
Firing Civil Service employees (i.e. Obama Holdovers) is like pulling teeth. There is an old saying about Civil Service Employees...”You can’t fire them and you can’t make them work”. Most Mangers who sour on their Civil Service Employees usually give up trying to fire them and just shuffle them off to someone else. Even if you eliminate their position, they just end up getting transferred.
If he’s the best Democrats could come up, they have nothing.

Should have happened in January 2017. The media would have freaked out, so I understand why that didn't happen. But at this point, what is holding them back? Anyone working in the president who has any ties to a Democrat or to a foreign country should be gone.
I would think that as soon as it was announced there was a spy claiming to be a whistleblower, AG Barr would have immediately secured a FISA Warrant and OWNS All Communications of this SPY for the last year, which would include a whole lot of Elected Officials as Co-Conspirators. The Very Instant Pelosi allows a Real Vote on Impeachment, The Crime will have been Committed and they should ALL Be Arrested and Charged.
Bullcrap; there are plenty of decent Trump supporters who could replace each and every one of them; especially at the White House. We don’t need these “experts” like the fat “hero’ Lt. Colonel; someone with common sense would be far better. Every Obama holdover should be out of any politically-controlled appointment and NOW, no matter what the half-assed Republican, cross-the-aisle bunch says.

I suspect that “Fat” Lt Colonel is nearing retirement. Military Officers are not allowed to represent their Uniform in Political matters and what he has done will be frowned upon by his superior officers resulting in a less than Satisfactory Efficiency report. His Army career is pretty much over and I suspect he will be soon reassigned and then retire .

My understanding is the Vindeman was the one who shared the call with Ciaramella. DOJ needs to prosecute for leaking classified information.

The Executive Orders were issued by President Trump in May 2018. These orders would place significant restrictions on the use of official time by federal employees working on behalf of a union as well as directing agencies to be more stringent in bargaining union use of government facilities. The Orders would also make it easier to fire a federal employee for not meeting performance requirements.

This is exactly why there has to be a zero tolerance policy for this kind of stuff. This guy lived to fight another day, when he should have been charged with a crime, fired, and jailed.
