Here are some problems with that "narrative":
The other thing was Vindman's showing up for the cameras in a spotless military uniform, medals gleaming from his chest. The guy always wore a suit and tie to his NSC job. Let's call that what it is: some public relations manipulations...
There's more. During the question-and-answer section, Vindman attempted to make changes to an official transcript, given that he was in on the July call between Ukraine's president and President Trump. The reportage suggests that President Trump's transcript was dishonestly concealing references to Burisma. .. Vindman argues that he knew the word that quite possibly the machine did not...The Times says he tried to "correct" the transcript. He may just as easily have been trying to insert words that were never said out of a NeverTrump political motivation.
And about Burisma, the huge, flamingly corrupt energy company in Ukraine that amounts to a gargantuan slice of the economy of that country it is hardly no national security concern, as Vindman argued in his opening statement. That Joe Biden's son was making tens of thousands of dollars each month in a no-show board job, and that Vindman argued that this wasn't a national security priority, calls into question his so-called expertise. Actually, it makes an argument that he just hated Trump.
Here's more he apparently worked as a registered foreign agent for Ukraine, which is an astonishing conflict of interest with work on the National Security Council, and leaking presidential transcripts to Ukraine. That's probably the biggest conflict of interest of all.
Why was Vindman, an 0-5, engaging in unsanctioned foreign policy discussions with Ukrainian officials behind the back of the President of the United States?

That there is FUNNY, Ray!
Did that wide=eyed, brain challenged Schiff think we would not find out about all this because he brought all this junk to a “secured” place?
This man needs straightening out...BAD.
Who authorized that or can just anyone listen into a presdent’s communications. Talk about a security risk.
There appear to be dozens of registered foreign agents for Ukraine. It must be a money train.
I’m curious about that, too. Any ideas?
Trump is going to let them dig their hole deeper and then eventually release the actual recording of the call. They just dont learn. Of course there will be an uproar in the media and Dems that Trump is exposing classified communications and the no foreign government will ever trust us again... bla bla bla...
Maybe the whorehouse counts as credit for the War College?
I was curious about the guy when I saw all the salad on his uniform and a bunch of “i was there” awards. Granted he has the cib and a purple heart, but I didn’t see any v devices.

Working as a registered agent is not something one just ‘forgets’ as time flows.
Neither does one ‘forget’ the various military rules that when broken will get him or her sent to Leavenworth.
One can make excuses, yes. Forget, no.
No, but we're getting so good at FR, all we have to do is talk about them and they go away.
Looking into his history....born in Ukraine when it was part of the USSR. From everything I read...it looks like he was/is perhaps more Russian than Ukrainian.
“...he apparently worked as a registered foreign agent for Ukraine...”
For which side was he a registered foreign agent?? - the nationalist party now in power, or the Russian dominated party favored by the Obama and Bidens??
“....he apparently worked as a registered foreign agent for Ukraine, which is an astonishing conflict of interest with work on the National Security Council, and leaking presidential transcripts to Ukraine....”
Why isn’t everyone going off on that point!
They expected Shilary to win and were trying to suck up to her so they would have leverage with the incoming administration.
Lots of us are patriotic Americans who served in the military during the Cold War and hated communism. Unfortunately when the Soviet Union fell, they never had a real revolution. The same corrupt assholes wearing the Hammer and Sickle just took it off and put on a Ukrainian Tryzub (trident) and stayed in power.
This guy was a military officer serving 0. Tells you all you need to know.
Clearly he was a translator transcriber, one of 3 charged with transcribing the conversation and creating a final transcription. He was there in no official capacity other than as a clerk with appropriate language skills.
The fact that he claimed to have tried to insert a controversial term into the document against the opinion of the other 2 transcribers speaks volumes to his lack of objectivity. Objectivity being, of course, a fundamental and critical skill in the performance of his duties.
BTTT
I see one MSM, four ARCOMs, and two AAMs. How do you earn the CIB and not even one V device?
Two and a half rows to O-5? That’s a lot of desk time.
Frankly, I despise the practice of wearing the uniform just to impress. If he was active duty & summoned to testify, that’s different.
