The Dearborn Public Schools website states it matter-of-factly: "Dearborn Public Schools ensures all meats served in our schools are certified Halal." Now one courageous mother is fighting back, challenging Dearborn public school officials to explain why they have done this and to provide options for students who object to halal food.
The mother wrote to Dearborn schools superintendent Glenn Maleyko, noting, "Schools have never changed lunches to fit any other religious needs. If one needed a special diet due to religion or health, they did what all other students do, bring a lunch from home."
Maleyko responded: "The decision was based on operational considerations only, not religion. By implementing an all Halal meat option we have increased the number of students that we are serving[.] ... It would cost a lot more to provide both Halal and non-Halal meat."
In the long run, the superintendent will find it far, far costlier to have capitulated to Islamic supremacism and set this precedent.

Why don’t they just do all kosher. That would drive the Muslims crazy. I would love kosher hot dogs and pastrami sandwiches.

Ha! It’s more likely that the ACLU will fill one of the friends of the court briefs, saying that this should have happened sooner.
I wonder how long it will be before every student is issued a Muslim prayer rug, along with instructions. Participation must be mandatory for all. (Otherwise, the Muslim students would feel isolated. We simply can’t let that happen.)
Isn't halal the same a kosher in that there may be a ritual involved with a prayer or something but essentially .... it's just hamburger ?

And almost every poultry plant in America produces ‘halal’ meat for export with that same ritual.
I won’t eat halal for a few reasons.
First off, I refuse to capitulate to islam.
Second, it’s meat sacrificed to idols.
Third, is that it’s reputed to be a very painful way for the animal to be killed, although, interestingly, but not surprisingly, it’s very difficult to find much information about that. Most sources are secular and very non-condemning of the practice.

I’d venture to guess most US Poultry plants use the halal method in some form.
The packaging they export the product has arabic writing and the word ‘halal’ in English.

If I recall correctly, nearly 100% of NYC schools and the schools in the surrounding counties offer Kosher options. Really not a big deal. I graduated from a major state university where certain dorm cafeterias served cleric approved food, including Halal and Kosher. We have bigger fights than this.
Most of the objections were to avoid sacrificing animals to an idol. There were others concerned with the environment. Apparently the amount of blood and guts would overflow our sewer systems. Holding tanks would overflow with a decent rain, ect.
I literally live in the middle of nowhere. You need people that watch this sort of thing because we found out about several other slaughter houses all over America. They have money men that bring money from shady ex cons. If they do it right, they can do it all in secret.
Always cede territory to your enemies because that is how you win....lol.

Translated into English: “I get to keep my head on my shoulders by making this change.”
They are colonizing America.
Dearborn is not making Halal an option, EVERYTHING will be Halal.
