Additional reporting says the SDF ‘spy’ we had on the inside stole a pair of Baghdadi’s dirty underwear and gave it to US forces. We had 100% positive DNA ID that he was there before the raid. We also had intel he was preparing to move to the Syrian town of Jarablus, which I believe is currently under Turkish control. No way he would be able to stay there, but he likely would have ‘disappeared’.
