The Walls are Closing In — but Not on Trump

Democrats and their media propaganda arm have been telling us since President Trump took office that “The walls are closing in.” First it was the Mueller investigation, then every fake news story from the media, from Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen being in Prague to Don Jr. calling his father about the Trump Tower entrapment meeting with some Russians.

Every “bombshell” revelation about Stormy Daniels or Omarosa meant that “the walls are closing in.” Mueller’s report, despite the best efforts of Andrew Weissman and his merry band of partisans, was a dud. As was the Ukraine phone call, with whistleblowers and Rep. Adam Schiff, perhaps one and the same, contradicted by the actual call transcript which Trump released.

For a humorous walk down memory lane, watch this YouTube montage of Democrat and #NeverTrump stooges telling their shrinking cable news audiences repeatedly that, “The walls are closing in” on President Trump.

Other oft-repeated phrases were, “This is the beginning of the end” and “It’s a tipping point” as this montage reminds us, with every bit of news described as “a bombshell.” It seems the entire U.S. media receives its talking points from a single source, as they all sound the same and use the exact same words or expressions. The original JournoList may be defunct, but media collusion is alive and well.

News this week suggests that the walls are indeed closing in, but not on President Trump. Instead it’s officials in the Obama administration, up to and including President Obama himself, who notice the size of their rooms beginning to shrink.

As many of us hoped, Attorney General William Barr’s investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax is now a criminal investigation rather than simply an administrative inquiry.

There should be a full storm media blitz to push the narrative that the democrats need to impeach or get off the pot

Yes, they don’t want it to go to the Senate for trial because there would be tons of Discovery and they do not want Discovery.

I still think this Impeachment/Witch Hunt./Kangaroo court BS is going to fizzle out.

The Rats are to the point where their only hope is to hurt Trump’s numbers and it’s not going to work.

The denizens of the Endless Thread have been predicting Hillary's arrest since 2017, and have a nice twist now: they claim it's happened in secret already.

So, yeah, it looks good. We know we are going to get another Horowitz report, but we've had two and no one went to jail as a result of them.

But, but -- we have the Durham activity. Yes, but we had Huber before that? Huber Watch anyone?

They need to be made to really really own it.

Force their hand. Call their bluff.
Trumps been raising lots of loot for his campaign. I understand the desire to hold on to when he has a democrat nominee to fight when the real trench warfare starts, but for right now, the long distance artillery is not enough when they’re digging tunnels and planting bombs under you.
If it was run full tilt in ads that the democrats need to impeach now and stop tearing up the country, they would be forced to call the vote or quit, and if they did neither, then their third option would be to wallow in mire of their own muck. Win, win win scenario, but only if you put on the full press.

I hope your right. They really want to impeach him and then arrest him on some phony charge. But they are afraid to try because they know the public is behind him.

The democrats are really afraid of something coming out that will destroy them. The Hunter Biden was really a small blip of corruption in the scheme of things. But their overreaction was so over the top that you can smell the fear.

The dems don’t really want impeachment

What they want is for President Trump to resign before he is impeached like Nixon. They think he will do that if he loses the support of republicans in the senate. It is critical that we let spineless republicans know that we are behind him.

Theoretically, 'discovery' would be a potentially-delightful sanitation process, getting a lot of inconvenient facts out into the open.

But Lindsey Graham and the turtle are working to short-circuit this with their schemes to basically throw out the Dems' articles of impeachment for being baseless, pre-empting a trial.

No trial, no discovery. How convenient for them all. Lots of skeletons remain in the closet...

Pelosi needs to appear on the Trump attack to ward off the liberal base of her party.

To the House Dems “doing something” is attacking Trump — and that’s it.

For this reason, I don’t see the Witch Hunt ending any time soon. In fact, it’s a rolling Witch Hunt that constantly scours current news looking for new attacks. The Whistleblower attack is dead in the water. Now they are fishing for something more.

And if the Schiff witch hunt should end, Pelosi will seek to start up some other “official” witchhunt.

They are very much on defense and are no doubt horrified about whatever documentation the Special Forces got on the Al Baghdadi raid. You can bet it is enough to put many of them in place they never dreamed could happen to them. They are dead men walking!!
