Full Title: Report: Staffers Allegedly Confirmed Katie Hill’s Affair With Legislative Director, Leading Pelosi To Demand Resignation
Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA), who resigned Sunday following allegations that she had an affair with a congressional staffer, was reportedly told to resign by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
Radio host Joe Messina reported on his Monday program “The Real Side,” that Hill’s resignation was demanded by Pelosi after the speaker learned that staffers in Hill’s office confirmed her affair with Legislative Director Graham Kelly. The staffers reportedly acknowledged the affair to the House Ethics Committee, which opened an investigation into the allegations.
When Pelosi learned of this, Messina reported, she told Hill to resign.
“My understanding is that a couple of those staffers; they had proof that she was having an affair with one of her staffers,” Messina reported. “The Ethics Committee found out hard and fast that she did have that relationship.”
Messina said he received the information from his sources in Washington, D.C., who have been proven correct in the past.
Messina said he became suspicious after Hill announced her resignation without admitting she had done anything wrong. In her resignation letter and accompanying video, Hill claimed she resigned to protect her community, staff, friends, and family from her “abusive husband” and “political operatives.” Pelosi’s statement went a different direction, saying Hill “acknowledged errors in judgement.” This is likely referring to Hill’s delayed admission that she was in a “throuple” relationship with her husband and a campaign staffer. Still, Messina reported, if Hill did nothing wrong – as her own resignation announcement seemed to indicate – why would Pelosi say Hill “acknowledged errors in judgement?”

Kind of ironic how when a female Rep like Katie Hill “gets her some”, you tell her to resign...when Bill Clinton had his way with Monica, you supported him fully...are you sexist against women?

Not surprising she would not say she did anything wrong. She was a fine example of liberalism and its "the rules don't apply to me" mindset. So she did not think she did anything wrong. But she was quick to ascribe blame to others for her bad judgement. In her view, she was caught, and that was her offense. SOUND LIKE ANYONE ELSE WE KNOW??? (cough - Hillary - cough)
What Pelosi did was nail-down the timing, so it was buried under Trump taking out the ISIS leader. They had to be sitting on it for a while. They also, apparently, kept it quiet that the Ethics Committee had already started their investigation.
This is a great example of SKILLFUL LEADERSHIP, whether we like it or not.
Too bad the same kind of pressure cannot be put upon Adam Schiff. But then, he has no sense of shame or decency, either.
Had it not been for “right wing media” this would have been brushed under the rug and left the taxpayers on the hook for the “undisclosed” amount of money paid to the victim from the Congressional Sexual Assault Slush Fund”

Why is it that I have this feeling that Schiff has a lot of skeletons in his closet. The guy is weird. We can all see that. Is he married? Does he have a gf or bf?

There has to be more to the story. Isn’t AOC dating one of her staff as well? And Omar is supposedly dating a staff member too. Where are their resignations? Katie Hill broke a house rule not a law. Her district is a swing distric which could easily be Republican next year. No way would Pelosi want to lose it. Also when is Katie Hill resigning? Her resignation letter does not give a date. Does that mean she is finishing her term?
Schiff is married with 2 kids. He is also a vegan.
