Agree that Crater Lake is excellent everyday blue at around $30 / pound.

Do you have Rogue River Blue?

Yes but it's a bit runny

That sounds really good. Have to try it.

Any top gorgonzola, any top blue... we love. Best way to serve it, imo - get some friends together, get a quarter wheel of blue or a little more maybe, several good baguettes, several bottles of good zin... and you’re in heaven, lol! That’s how I was first introduced. Been hooked ever since. Cheers!

Maytag blue cheese is also made from cow’s milk -— it is the real deal and is among the best blue cheese available on the market.

When we went to Italy years ago I was stunned to learn from a tour guide that real mozzarella is made with the milk of cape buffalo...aka: “water buffalo”.

There is also a Mediterranean water buffalo found in Italy and other subspecies of water buffalo are found in Eastern Europe.

Its still around. Talk to one of those guys that drives the seafood truck up here and brings back the cheese and sausages. Maybe he can snag some for you. Liederkranz®

Wtf? Washington wines make the stuff from NY taste like mouthwash and there is no finer cheese than Cougar Gold. But perhaps I’m biased...

Nothing beats Lands of Lake yellow/orange American Cheese, sliced thin, on burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, or just eaten out of the hand. You can also cook it in scrambled eggs and omelets.

Don’t mess with me. I’m the omelet king in my house (when my wife lets me into the kitchen).

Mozzarella di bufala. It’s the best, but only if you are eating it freshly made in Italy.
