In an interview which aired Sunday on CBS’s “60 Minutes,” 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden defended his son’s dealings in Ukraine that led to him being appointed to the board of directors of Burisma Holdings despite having not having any experience in the energy sector nor knowing the language.
According to the former vice president, Hunter Biden “did not do a single thing wrong,” adding investigations back that up.
“[Hunter] was already on the board, and he’s a grown man,” Biden outlined. “And it turns out he did not do a single thing wrong as everybody’s investigated.”
Biden went on to say if he is elected, his children will not have jobs in his administration. He then took a shot at the Trump family and Jared Kushner, saying they “know nothing about” working in the White House.

In the grand scheme of things, I’m not sure anyone cares if Hunter did anything wrong.
But Joe used his office to strong-arm a foreign country to enrich his child. That seems wrong.

Seems that parsing is being picked up by many with stuff to hide, in their pathetic attempts to hide their many wrongdoings...

I have to say that NorDUH O’Donnells interview was reflective of the decline in journalism. I had follow-up question that everyone wanted to know but she instead let his very poor and simplistic answers stand. She must have an air pocket between her ears. For instance, the fact that Obama is not endorsing Biden is a huge piece of information. Biden is running on the great Obama legacy in his mind ad to say he doesn’t want the endorsement is folly, laughable, and incredulous. But no follow-up to dig deeper. I hope Biden gets the nomination, he’s WEAK with a capital W.
Again, the focus on what his son did is misdirection. He was there for who his father was. When Burisma was being investigated the oligarch that owned the company expected that Joe would use his position as VP to fix the problem by having the prosecutor fired and the cases dropped. Joe bragged about his bribery at a public forum. That is all that 60 minutes should have questioned him on while holding the affidavit from Shokin, the fired prosecutor.
“He did not do a single thing.” Would have been correct if he’d stopped there.
Both sides make it laughable. Biden is a joke and so is the MSM.
Key word: single. He did multiple things.

Slow Joe may be correct. If we assume that his son is as demonstrably stupid as he is, the poor sod is incapable of doing anything at all without help.
And so goes the legacy of liberals. Pretend they’re smart and totally demolish the lie by actions.
