This solidifies it for me. He was a Deep State plant from the beginning.

Perhaps you see something that I do not but I’m not sure why this revelation should “solidify” that belief for you.

See this related article:
https://www.theepochtimes.com/carter-page-sues-doj-demands-ig-report-be-delayed-for-review_3128379.html

From the article: “The Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits the government from releasing information on individuals to the public without written consent. One of the provisions also empowers citizens to review and request amendments to records that the government holds in its possession.”

What he is doing is within the law. Strange that following and obeying the law gets you in trouble nowadays.

The obvious question is - Why didn't he request the opportunity to do so earlier?

It's not as if he didn't know it was coming out soon.

Such actions now at this late date puts him on the wrong team.
Delaying the release is a Democrat tactic and he has spoken in public about his tale/role and his court records are available to the public so where is the beef?

I’m going to assume for now, that Carter Page has better lawyers than those that served LT Gen Flynn before he hired Sidney Powell.

How do you know Carter Page didn’t ask to review the report and was turned down? Maybe the lawsuit has been filed now is because the DOJ gave a final denial.

Did they use a fake FISA letter to tail him?

I don't know. However, IMO, he would have been all over television stating that he had been turned down if that were the case. He never met a TV camera that he didn't fall in love with.

Maybe the lawsuit has been filed now is because the DOJ gave a final denial.

How do you know he made an initial request?

See? Two can play your game. We're both just guessing here.

I’m going to assume that he was a snake in the grass from the start.

Page comes off as a dolt during interviews. Anyone picking him to be a “spy” hasn’t a clue.

A Judas goat doesn't need to be smart, just docile like the sheep it leads to slaughter.
Or had that not occurred to you?

I don't know much about the law off the top of my head, but I find it very hard to believe that the FedGov is prohibited from releasing info on its employees, in their official work capacity, without their consent. Sure, private information or non-gov related individuals, sure. But any info from his time as a Federal employee is part of records on the government, not records on him in his personal capacity.

That and I expect that we will find out Carter Page left his communications (phone, email, etc.) open to the FBI/DOJ to spy on his communications with Trump officials.
