Cries of "social justice," "affirmative action," "racial prejudice," etc., ad nauseam, enfranchise the Left to wallow in a fictitious self-regard of moralizing sentimentality. Anyone who opposes leftists is automatically demonized as inhumane. Cowardly Republicans, large corporations like Procter & Gamble, and bureaucrats are shaken down and extorted to comply, for fear of appearing insensitive toward "oppression." Any evidence of political incorrectness can damage employment prospects or even get one fired. We are being thought-controlled and speech-tyrannized.
How can we push back against such imperious "bleeding heart" compassion? The ideology has a stranglehold on academia and is being rolled out in schoolrooms from kindergarten onward. We've already lost the Millennials. Yet from the time of Marx's historiography, which examined humans exclusively as members of a class, to the postmodern deconstruction of all meaning, the Left has described society along one parameter, and one parameter only: that of political power!
Nothing else matters. For the Left, the good society comprises powerful identity groups (who were formerly victimized identity groups), together with the judicial, political, and economic subjugation as well as social ostracism of their previous oppressors. This is the vile mirror image, rhapsodized from a deformed, delusional distortion of today's society a caricature of actuality. To maintain this ranting fiction, the Left "discovers" oppression in every possible human (and non-human) interaction. One cannot have a power-neutral relationship, except with like-minded people. Regardless of moral character, one is either a victim or a persecutor by dint of skin color, religious affiliation, class membership, economic status, genealogy, history, and now (biologically irrelevant) sex. The Left is entirely uninterested in moral character. Personal moral responsibility has been outsourced to "woke" identity memes, worn like tattoos and skin piercings. Ideology is identity, and identity is power.

The only way to defeat it is to first expose it. Only if people can recognize it for what it is, will its power then be weakened. Just as Christians must learn the tactics of the devil, so also the general public must learn the basic strategies that are being used to divide America and make people dependent. They must see the Left's lies and that their utopian socialism is a false hope.
Jordan Peterson does a good job of exposing Cultural Marxism.
Schools began teaching America is an oppressor nation back in the eighties. Thats more than a generation ago. Many younger Americans decry colonialism but do not even know that we were the colony, not the rulers.
People must learn about the Left’s specific tactics of deconstruction and Critical Theory and the role of utopianism to make the USA seem much worse than it really is. If Christians would learn to teach the basic doctrine of the fallenness of Man to their kids, that would be very helpful. Instead, 66% of kids in Bible-believing churches quit church because they are “Moralistic Therapeutic deists” (MTDs) who think that they (and other people) are basically good people. As a result, they don’t see that there will never be a utopia, and that too much power given to a small group of politicians is a very bad thing.
Well, this is backwards. FIRST we take back the education of our children, then the rest will follow. Oh, but conservatives don't LIKE teachers, and don't want to BE teachers, so liberals control education and conservatives rant from the sidelines about it. And nothing changes. Until conservatives flood the education field and wrest control back, nothing changes.
Or parents can get involved and participate in the education of our children. How many kids go to Sunday school anymore. My public school did not have to teach me morality or religion. That was the responsibility of my parents.
The desire to put Christianity back in the schools is as stupid as the liberal desires to teach their morality.
I didn't say anything about Christianity. I said Conservatives.
Until conservatives flood the education field and wrest control back, nothing changes. <<
Easy to say...Hard to do!
as a former 14 year school board member, Ive watched in disbelief as any sign of a “conservative teacher” gets blacklisted or will never be hired by “Liberal school boards”
If you really want to make a change..you need to start with the SCHOOL BOARD!
Are you on the School Board for your area???
I heard Bernie Sanders say in reference to global warming (scam) that he was going to end “Environmental Racism”, as if that was a thing...
Where in the world does carbon dioxide contribute to racism? In fact, it could be said that fossil fuels contribute to blacks and asians being rescued from the dark ages.
You really have to either be totally ignorant or willfully so in order to buy this crap.
And where do conservative morals come from?
In my experience, there wasnt a teacher in my life that added significantly to my moral basis. And as I got to observe better through high school and college they seemed to be cautionary lessons as they were mostly miserable drunks.
bump
Then one must reject determinism and collectivism and judge each person as an individual with free will. Then point out that determinism and collectivism are a major part of the leftard worldview, so they are the ones dividing the masses into groups and pitting them against each other in a constant, continuous, never ending struggle.
Nice that "Christian texts" get inclusion, but the problem is that any valid type of humanism owes itself to what Scripture teaches. And the answer to the demonic victim-entitlement that the Left foists upon the simple and uses to obtain power is to combat that with the Truth of Scripture, as Christ did.
I'm an English teacher in Los Angeles. I have seen no indication that it's "hard to do." There are actually a few of us.
Are you on the School Board for your area???
Nope, I'm in the classroom with the kids every day, proving that it is not at all "hard to do." Conservatives just don't want to do it.
Yes, my point exactly.
And as I got to observe better through high school and college they seemed to be cautionary lessons as they were mostly miserable drunks.
Again, my point exactly. Conservatives refuse to do the job, sneering down from their moral high ground. What has that clean-hands approach gotten us?
Thank you!
Thank you!
This is not a “How To...” article. It’s a “Why to
...” article. Good but poorly titled.
How many teachers are in your district??..(put that# here)->>
How many are “conservative”?...(put that # here->>
NOW Subtract!
How many members on your School Board?..(put that # here)->>
Which # is smaller? Who has the “POWER” to hire Teachers?
(see where I'm going with this?)
Yes, you're going to make excuses for not being a teacher. Let me tell you something: I wasn't hired by the School Board. I've never met the School Board. But I've had over 2,000 kids pass through my classroom, and I can tell you: if enough conservatives become teachers, they can combat the influence on the kids.
But it's hard work. And few conservatives want to do it. They sit and come up with excuses not to.
