At the start of the 2016 primaries I underestimated Trump too. I thought he was a game show host and not much more. But it was hard to not like a guy who took the smirks off the pompous media characters’ faces. And then I started to realize that he could change the world in a good way, with very little help from the establishment GOP.

I would like to think folks were smart enough to figure things out sooner than that, but we can all see the same things and come away with different interpretations. I get that.

Even before Convention time though, it was clear he was the man for the job > IMO. He also had the delegates, so the wholesome (?) debate was over at that point.

So it really became self-defeating for Conservatives to pound Trump when it was certain Hillary would be the opposing candidate.

We HAD TO win in November. There was no alternative for our nation at that point.

Those that didn’t exhibit an understanding of this at that point really pounded home to me their lack of understanding the Conservative dynamic, or the real Hillary Clinton, and what she represented.

I can’t begin to imagine how that woman would have torn our nation apart. In effect, a combination George Soros and Saul Alinsky would have been president.

Add to that the dynamic that surrounded Hillary and Bill’s former friends and associates, and it’s borderline terrifying what could have taken place.

Look how bad it is in Congress and on the streets with now every with Trump. Imagine it all without him.
