Who exactly in the Nats' organization invited José Andrés?

It's a big jump from Trump to José Andrés.

Nationals principal owner Mark Lerner said President Trump has “every right” to attend Sunday’s World Series game
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
That’s mighty white of him to allow the President of the United States to show up for a baseball game.
MSM to Pelosi: “Do you think President Trump has a right to attend the World Series?”
Pelosi: “Well I think we need to have a discussion about whether it is appropriate for a President under an impeachment investigation to attend such an event”.
Why José Andrés?
And if not the president, why non Don Jr., Eric or Rudy?
In any cast, the crowd will go wild when Trump walks in.
The over and under for the standing ovation is 11.5 minutes.
A big jump down. Like into the septic tank.
Washington is a political town but I would have thought the Nationals would bring out past Washington baseball stars like big Frank Howard (now 83), Camilo Pascual (now 85), Ken McMullen (now 77) or Livan Hernandez (now 44). Maybe a relative of Walter Johnson, the greatest player in Washington history.
Next in line might be folks associated with bringing the Nats to DC back in 2005.
Why does everything in DC have to be about politics?
This ia setup. Trump would be smart not to attend. He doesn’t need the potentially bad reception.
Trump knows baseball better than most. He has, in his back pocket, the Covfefe Play. This is even better than the Hidden Ball Trick. Covfefe wokrs like this. Trump announces his intention to attend the game. Hours prior to the start of the game, Secret Service agents swarm the premises and surrounds ensuring there are no hidden threats. Attendees will be subjected to long lines and security procedures that make going through TSA lines seem like a two minute wait for your chow at Turd Burgers or wherever. Of course all the fans who hate Trump will hate him more. The TV network talking heads will prattle on and on about the situation and maybe interview some beaner ball players to get negative comments. And then to complete the Covfefe Play, Trump never shows up but goes on Twitter near the end of the game to congratulate the winner of the PGA tournament being held outside Tokyo.
It appears some in MLB want the league to go the way of the NFL and NBA.
Trump should throw the first pitch after the hecklers are removed.
More than a right! Read what he’s accomplished in 3 years and you’ll lay red carpet, have a 21 gun salute and treat him and the office with the respect he’s earned! You know...how you treated Obama.
Civil and civilized Americans would welcome any president at such an event. But whiners, crybabies and tantrum-throwing fascists wouldn’t.
What a joke. The guy is a complete butthurt jerk. Trump Hotels sued him for $10 million in a breach of contract suit. Can’t wait to see him toss out the first pitch like a little girl. A baseball is not a pastry.
Lerner was a big friend of obozo. Still, he's in his nineties so I would forgive him for some awkward phrasing here.
We, the people will be watching how the crowd in the stand reacts to one of the greatest presidents our country has ever had. If they boo or jeer the POTUS, he will only get stronger in the heart and soul of the American people!!! we shall see Monday evening!!!
I have no grief with Andres. He and the Trump Organization settled their lawsuits, apparently amicably. Plus the Trumps ended up with a David Burke restaurant in their DC hotel. Burke is a top-notch chef.
I didn’t really care for Andres when he judged a couple of episodes of Iron Chef America. He was obnoxiously flamboyant. BUT, he really is a notable philanthropist.
Pity the Nats! The “Trump Curse” is an elemental force of nature. It strikes remorselessly, relentlessly, and always. And I had such hope for the Nats in this series, being two games up and all.
I went from pulling for the Nats to celebrating the Astros win last night and hoping for three more wins on their part. I would love to see Trump clapping for the Astros tomorrow night, he needs Texas a lot more than he needs DC.
Jose Andres
Named “Outstanding Chef” by the James Beard Foundation and recognized by Time magazine on the “Time 100” list of most influential people in the world...
Never heard of him...
