MORE BOMBSHELLS FROM THE FLYNN PROSECUTION
Powerline ^ | 25 Oct 2019 | John Hinderaker

General Michael Flynn still awaits sentencing. Meanwhile his new lawyer, Sidney Powell, is tormenting the prosecutors and the FBI, uncovering corruption in the FBI and the Department of Justice that, she credibly alleges, included the framing of General Flynn.

Is that too strong? I don’t think so. Yesterday Powell filed a reply brief in support of her motion to compel the production of more exculpating material by the prosecution, and to hold the prosecutors in contempt of court. Her recitation, which relies in part on text messages that I take it have come to light recently, makes a compelling case of FBI and prosecutorial misconduct. The reply brief is embedded below; I encourage you to read it in its entirety.

Read the whole thing. What they have done to General Flynn is criminal and they should be punished for it.

Pick your animal: Tiger, Bulldog, or clever like a Fox, Sidney Powell is all rolled into one. Courageous and relentless.

She is also continuing to unearth bits of information and putting it into the light that we will soon be hearing about from other sources (e.g. Horowitz). I’m sure AG Barr and Attorney Durham read everything from the Flynn case very carefully.

Probably until he is cleared or sentencing. I think he will be sentenced in early December. IMO

While President Trump is, without a doubt, honey badger.

BLOGGER Gort breaks it down:
October 25, 2019 at 7:09 am

The unseen hand of Barr and Durham is all over these recent filings by Sidney Powell. These are the altered 302s that we have all been hearing about for the past year that nobody has managed to produce. How did Powell suddenly to come by them?

The other day, Powell produced in a court filing not only the fact that that Mifsud’s Blackberrys contained Brady material, but she had both the device and the sim card serial numbers of both Blackberrys. Who could have possibly given her that information, given that Durham only recently came by them?

If one starts from the assumption that Mueller was mentally incapable of running his investigation and that Andrew Weissmann was in fact the guy in charge, and that the prosecution of General Flynn is being handled by Weissmann’s minions, everything begins to fall into place. Andrew Weissmann’s criminal tactics are all over the Flynn prosecution.

By exposing the corrupt prosecution of Flynn, Barr and Durham have not only an opportunity to bring justice to General Flynn, they help build the public narrative of a vast criminal conspiracy that included Andrew Weissmann and his enabler, Rod Rosenstein, James Comey (remember he bragged about setting up Flynn), and Andrew McCabe (“First we f*ck Flynn, then we F*ck Trump”).

And by channeling this evidence through Sidney Powell into the Flynn case, Barr and Durham get it introduced into the public domain through court filings. Plus, by having the evidence introduced in the Flynn case, the argument that Barr’s investigation is simply revenge by President Trump is shot to pieces. And who better than Sidney Powel to handle the gutting of Andrew Weissmann? She has literally written the book on his corrupt tactics: Licensed to Lie.

I now see Powell’s efforts in the Flynn case as only tangentially about exonerating and bringing justice to General Flynn. In a much more profound sense what she is doing as an integral part of the effort to expose the criminal conspiracy to subvert the office of the Presidency of the United States. This seditious conspiracy is in fact an attempted coup d’etat. Barr and Durham — and now with the help of Sidney Powell — are without question handling the prosecution of the most important criminal case in the history of the United States.

In this construction, General Michael Flynn is fighting the last and indisputably most important battle of his distinguished military career: The battle to save our Republic.

Powell needs to focus her awesome analytical powers on the duplicitous actions of Susan Rice-----the person Flynn was set to replace.

The execrable Susan Rice's email sent to herself on Trump's inauguration day---just hours before she was scheduled to leave purported to document part of the strange meeting Obama held.

As Obama's top security aide, Rice was nervous about the fact that, at the president’s direction, she had failed
“to share information fully as it relates to Russia” with President Trump’s incoming national security team........

Susan Rice is far from the brightest bulb on the tree, but she was well aware that by concealing facts relating to US national security, she was, at a minimum, violating longstanding civic norms.

If she actually lied to Flynn, she could have been accused of much worse. So Rice wanted to be able to retrieve her email, if she found herself in a sticky situation, and tell the world that she hid relevant facts about Russia from the new administration on Barack Obama’s orders.

What were the secrets that Obama wanted to keep from the new Trump administration?
We can easily surmise that
<><>the Steele memo was paid for by the Democratic Party;
<><>that the FBI had to some degree collaborated with Steele;
<><>that the Clinton campaign had fed some of the fake news in the dossier to Steele;
<><>that Comey’s FBI had used Steele’s fabrications as the basis for FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign.

These were among the facts that Obama and his minions didn’t want Michael Flynn and Donald Trump to know. Susan Rice, we can infer, was told to keep these secrets, and if anyone ever asked why she had failed to disclose them to Michael Flynn and others on Trump’s team, or even lied to those people, she would have the defense that President Obama ordered her to do it.

There may be more to it than this. The redacted paragraph likely contains more information about what it was that Rice wasn’t supposed to tell the Trump team. One of these days, we will learn what was blacked out.

The fact that Michael Flynn was Susan Rice’s counterpart in the incoming administration may also be significant. We know that the FBI agents who interviewed General Flynn–even Peter Strzok!–reported that they didn’t think he had lied about anything.

And yet, Obama’s DOJ and Bob Mueller’s “investigation”–basically a continuation of Obama’s corrupt Department of Justice under another, less accountable name–persecuted Flynn to the point where he finally pled guilty to a single count of lying to the FBI in order, as he says, to end the madness and the financial drain.

Why were the Democrats so determined to discredit General Flynn?

Perhaps because they wanted to pre-empt any outrage that may otherwise have followed on revelations that the Obama administration’s National Security Advisor hid important facts from Gen Flynn, her successor, during the transition, and may have lied to him about those facts......evidence of bigger more dangerous security breeches.

==============================

When we look back, these anti-Trump dirty-doing insiders always seemed overconfident......and sloppy....
...always smirking about one crime or another....never, ever considering---or even fearing---retribution.
Clearly, the dirty-doers did not plan on any follow -up nor did they expect Americans to challenge them.

Keep in mind, those were the heady days of "anything goes'...when Saint Obama was untouchable and Hillary was a "shoo-in."

I can just hear them now: "Don't worry, Hillary will sweep all of this under the Oval Office rug."
This as they chose their bailiwicks and sinecures and signed up for 3-4 eternal Federal pensions.

“How long does this grind on?”

It would seem the case could easily be dismissed based on the language of the 6th Amendment to the Constitution:

“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.”

Interesting that the criminal plotters really exposed themselves by continuing to push on this
Flynn case. This allowed our hero, Sidney Powell, to enter this mess and become their worst nightmare. Loved all 70+ pages of her filing.

Flynn did nothing wrong except making deep state enemies.
So not liking him was his crime.

I would love to see Trump once cleared, make Flynn national security adviser so he could take a whack at draining out
the deep swamp.

If Barr and Durham produce what we anticipate will be damning revelations of corruption, lawlessness, and unethical behavior in our most trusted federal agencies just watch the Republicans suddenly try to jump on the bandwagon that they for so long refused to pull.

A microcosm of how the justice system in this country is becoming totally corrupted by politics.

The lawyer for some dirt ball gang-banger finds a penny-ante Miranda oversight in a capital crime case, and the scum bag is likely not only to go free, but probably snags a financial settlement from the charging entity.

Meanwhile Flynn gets entrapped into a meaningless process crime, spends himself into destitution, has this crap hanging over his head for three years, and even after we find out the whole thing is bogus at its core, still has to put up with more as it’s dragged out.

So, the scummy fbi changed Flynn’s 302. A criminal act. Charges against Flynn should be thrown out and culprits should be thrown in jail. My question is, who is representing the govt. in this case now? It’s the new FBI? Same as the old FBI? Different scum but still scum?

The battle to save our Republic.

************

Its tragic that this existential battle is largely being fought by just a hand full of dedicated and courageous people. The GOP “army” has been hesitant to even step onto the battle field. That should never be forgotten.

fbi changed Flynn’s 302. A criminal act.

Only if done to a Democrat. “Revisions and adjustments” to 302’s are no problem in the case of Republicans.
