University students have been given 'trigger warnings' about potentially upsetting scenes in classic fairytales.
The tales include Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood.

Throwing cautionary tales to the wind.
They should read the ORIGINAL versions of the Grimm brothers writing.
lol
The backlash started with Trump getting elected.
It will come full circle sooner than later.
This is what happens to a country that is too wealthy and whose kids have too much time on their hands.
Their first REAL problems should do away with all this Crap when they get older.
BTW, they think that our wealth just magically appeared and they take being able to buy bread down the street for granted.
Boy would they be shocked at some countries out there.
As a female divorce lawyer, may I state that we do ourselves a huge disservice reading to our daughters about Cinderella and Prince Charming. These batty women get married and expect to be riding in Lexuses and living in mansions with private school for the kiddies while they sit on their ass at the nail shop. They then get pissy when hubby says there is no money for Disneyworld or a new kitchen remodel. So the poor blokes feel like failures.
DON’T READ YOUR DAUGHTERS CINDERELLA AND SLEEPING BEAUTY AND ALL THAT OTHER GARBAGE
ROTFL. I’d be too embarrassed to admit I’m a college student these days. Fairy tales are too violent for their pea-sized brains but “fairies” must be respected and adored. Ah, the confusion it is causing in their little brains.
The people who come up with nonsense like this fairytale stuff are a big indication that we have far too many people in advisory or related roles populating our education and social issue groups. IMO we should find somewhere on the planet they would be more at home spewing this crap like Antarctica. Perhaps the penguins are interested in hearing what they say or feel about such issues.
There is a Book for them,
to prepare their travel to a “Safe Place”
where they are treated like Contented Cattle

The Kanamits will know how to serve them best
Yeah, lets make them into jaded little hard cases. They should only read stories about the tractor factory meeting it’s production quota because of the hard work of the little girl STEM graduate.
Generations of women read those stories and turned out fine.

Well,Sebastian *was* a mean SOB!
What the hell are children’s fairy tales doing in universities in the first place???

I see this as well. My GF has a Mercedes, Acura, cruise once a year, private school, wants $1,000 weekends away every quarter and next Disney trip wants to spend $700 a night at the Polynesian Village. Shes not poor but shes not banking a dime.
Get woke; can’t take a joke.
Sad condition. It should be considered a medical emergency like TDS.
UM...NO...let’s not stop. FAIRY tales are PRETEND...Do NOT let the lefties rule.

My brothers and I were regularly triggered by my father's ancient English version of "Der Struwwelpeter." My mother thought it was a "horrid book" but the stories were very memorable and none of us EVER sucked our thumbs!
It’s your funeral dude. I like only men and am not attracted in the least to women, however, women need to know they haven’t married Santa Claus. Pay for themselves and contribute to the care of the children.
Fairy tales are fiction. Teach your children the difference between reality and fantasy.
Sounds like the young brides who decorate their house by hanging a 1/2 life size portrait of themselves in their wedding dress over the fireplace in the living room.
The BIBLE has more descriptions of violence and mass murder than a childhood fairy tale book.
