"What kind of dictatorship bans Winnie the Pooh? That tells you the level of paranoia which is at the heart of the Chinese system." ---Newt Gingrich

Yeah, well, I think I have a comment on that....

"What kind of dictatorship bans the Twitter account of conservative actor James Woods? That tells you the level of paranoia which is at the heart of the progressive social media system in the USA." ---Scooter100

Hey, Newt, why not concentrate on free speech issues in our own back yard?

I have to agree with Newt...

I think Winnie the Pooh was my very first hero.

For real.

One can object to communist fascism in both countries, surely.

Because we also have the freedom to start a business and run it how you choose without government interference. Mr. Woods and you are welcome to start a blogging site and compete with twitter.

Who can NOT love Pooh. Brighter than anyone in Congress. Eats only honey, not babies. Not a mean bone in his body, nor an unkind word to anyone. His words of wisdom should be a guide to life, such as:

“Sometimes, the best something is to do nothing”
“They say nothing is impossible, yet I do nothing everyday”
“I get to where I’m going by walking away from where I’ve been.”

And he is fearless, except for Heffalumps and Woozles.

Perhaps you’d like to identify some of the other Articles in the Constitution that incorporated businesses within the US are entitled to trample?

Freedom of speech is a pretty important one, wouldn’t you say?

I like the fact that Free Republic can operate freely as a conservative site. How about you? Should we be forced by the government to post articles promoting socialism? Abortion? Etc.?

The first question for anyone who likes Winnie-THER-Pooh is: Which one?

Next up, freedom of assembly.

You open a store. Satanists decide they want to come in and try to recruit your customers. Should you be able to ban them from your store?

You open a store. You don’t like the chef, so you murder him. Should you be allowed to murder a human being on your private property?

I didn’t know that murder was a constitutionally protected right. I also didn’t know I was having a discussion with a 4 year old.
