Baker had to sign off on the FISA warrants and as a lawyer he is an officer of the court. He perpetrated a fraud on the court. You can't use lawyer client privilege to commit a crime. Remember Durham almost certainly knows what is in the IG report, in fact he has probably hired some of the same lawyers and investigators who wrote the thing.

Thats why all of this needs to be in a military tribunal venue.

I’ve always hated any govt official names James Baker, and for good reasons (anti-Semitic and anti-America).

I defer to your knowledge. I am not a lawyer. I don’t even play one on TV.

Or option four he hangs himself in the jail cell after the honeymoon with the large guy who gets gets an early parole and moves back to his meth lab in Pig Wallow, Arkansas. Joseph Mifsud knew when to cut a deal and he has himself stashed away someplace so safe even the Italian Mafia can't get to him (though they have probably been hired to try).

I guess I don’t know what a “pending” crime it. I thought it was something where the criminal is still engaging in the crime. So if you have a fraudulent business, you are still engaging in that fraud while speaking with your attorney, it is a pending crime. Or if you kidnapped someone and they are still being held, that is a pending crime.
But if you defrauded the FISA court 3 years ago, or lied to the FBI 2 years ago, that would be a past crime, not a pending crime. Still a crime, but one where you could claim attorney-client privilege because it is in the past.
All very confusing for me.

Durham was appointed by Sessions, long before Barr was AG.
Lots of surprizes ahead.

Given the media’s near-zero credibility wake me when it happens.

That does not seem like the resume of a likely “flipper”. Most likely just some more sunshine pumping and wishful thinking here.

I don’t believe he was saying you posted crap. I think the “crap” he was referring to stopping is the coup on Trump and subsequent spying. I think he was saying, if you want to stop this kind of treasonous behavior, you need to hang some perps.
I did not get the impression he was calling your post crap.

I seriously hope not. He needs investigators from outside the beltway. Although, given do-nothing Huber maybe it doesn’t really matter.

Mistakes were made = some people did something.
That is not going to fly, Baker. Good luck with that.

I'm not a lawyer either, but the "crime-fraud exception" to attorney-client privilege has been in place for a long time.
In any case it is probably irrelevant. The attorney-client privilege can be waived by the CLIENT, and in this particular case the client isn't Lisa Page -- it's the FBI. U.S. Attorney General William Barr is the one who has the ultimate decision about whether to invoke or waive the privilege ... and what do you think he'd decide? LOL.
