I love hearing about things like this:
“...telling the Journal that hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars will be saved by the cancellations.”

How about a simple question, why are our federal government agencies, any of them, paying for subscriptions in the first place?! Stop them all!!!

No! Send them to me! I’m starting to repaint the inside of my house, and copies of the Slimes and ComPost will make for great, cheap drip cloths on the hardwood floors.

I wonder if this is related to the Durham probe becoming a criminal investigation.

Better late than never!
I have long suspected that the Washington Post gets the vast majority of its subscription revenue from federal agencies. I think some LARGE digital subscriptions will turn up, giving full access to the rag to all employees of a department or division.
In the world of trade magazines that focus mainly on a single company, that company often buys a “blanket” subscription that essentially funds the whole magazine. The Washington Post is the trade rag for the federal bureaucracy, and their behavior strongly suggests a similar financial arrangement.
If the administration sticks to their guns on this, I think it will finish off the Post.

Publish their budgets. I wanna see what else (of our hard-earned taxpayer monies) they’ve been wasting.
To: KingofZion
Excellent!!!!! Way to go President Trump!
To: KingofZion
She characterized the decision as a cost-saving measure, telling the Journal that hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars will be saved by the cancellations. Why not just tell the truth and say the decision is because the Times and the Post are fake news? Why lie about it?
To: KingofZion
Excellent, who can argue with saving money?
Oh.....democrats.
